snello! hmm... here's two pieces that kind of go together-

it's okay if the help you need is embarrassing, unusual and/or requires admitting you're flawed. you still deserve it, you still deserve to thrive. the bit that really sucks is making sure everyone involved understands you need it.

doth thou have any "snisdom" to give to thine people?

today's snisdom (snail wisdom) is something i need to work on too- if you know you tend to lose track of time doing something, set a timer for it!

I do have some advice. This is for the general public, but especially for the disabled people-

There's nothing you can be that makes you less of a person. You deserve to be treated like a person, all the time. You deserve to be treated with respect, and kindness, and dignity. All the time.

Sometimes, people look at you and see only what they want to see. They might assume they know you, or that they know what you're going through. They don't- the same way that you don't know them.

Hello! oh, i've missed doing this! thank you so much for asking. Today's wisdom is that time management is a skill. it can be easier if you think of time in segments...

yesterday, i was having a hard time putting down my phone to go get some water. it was getting late, and i was tired. so i thought "i dont wanna spend the whole night like this... what do i wanna get out of the next hour?" and i decided that enjoying a cold glass of water & going to sleep was ideal. but i still had a bit of a block so i broke it down-

i thought, "what do i want to get out of the next 5-10 minutes?" and i decided it would be reblogging one last thing, getting up, going to get a glass, and filling it up. so i did that. (it actually took less than a minute but i digress.)

(I apologize if I've already sent this in I have no memory of doing it and no memory of not doing it so I figured I'd send it anyway)

Any advice for the people today?

🐌 snaillo! Yes! You (yes you) are snimportant. You snatter. I'd notice, and I'd be really really snad, if you weren't snaround. You are valuable. Your sneelings are valuable too- even your snadness and snanger. When you go to sleep tonight, I hope you sleep deeply and peacefully, and wake up rested. 💖
