She would often dress down and wander off. Since Emma was young she would leave the castle to explore the lands she often heard her parents speak of, and that habit didn't die as she grew older. At this point Emma was fairly familiar with the Enchanted Forest and knew where to head to when she was in search of a quiet place. And that was exactly the reason why the door surprised her so much.
This particular side of the woods was one of her favorite places. The trees offered a pleasant shade, there was a river nearby and enough berries in the bushes that she would stay for hours without feeling hungry. But the heavy looking door was definitely not here before, Emma figured that would be something she would notice. For a moment Emma stared at it. Then she ran her fingers over the solid wood and the metal work ornamenting the door. Out of instinct she knocked, but since she wasn’t expecting anything to actually happen, she pushed it open to reveal--- A library? Emma looked back behind her at the woods, hesitating for a second before curiosity took over and she walked in slowly, carefully.
"---Hello?"
