𝒯𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓌𝒷𝒶𝒸𝓀 𝒯𝒽𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒹𝒶𝓎. This time last year I headed to NEC Birmingham to wander around the @springautumnfair my son was to find new brands that I wanted to share and source gifts for my day job. The rona was only just being chatted about. “That virus in China” I was a bit nervous but hand sanitiser was given out and I was assured it was ok. I love things like this. Meeting new people. Finding new things. Chatting about my blog and my work. But imagine heading to an event like this now? All those people. This year the fair is virtual. It starts next week and I will be once again heading to have a look around (online) in between home schooling. The buzz of it won’t be the same. In Mexico we have this beautiful and yummy tradition to eat “Rosca de Reyes” on January 6th, Day of the Three Wise Man. On that oval donut shaped bread, there is one or 2 figurines hidden and each person cuts their own slice. If you get the figurine, you have to buy tamales for everyone on February 2nd. Well, I got to cut mine first and I got one... got a second serving and guess what? I got the second one. Tamales for everyone are on me. 😝 Me tocaron los dos monitos de la rosca por tragona. I’ve seen so many beautiful pictures of families eating together over the past couple of days. No matter how many times we tried to get the perfect shot, at least one of us moved.
