Touches. Good lord, Sulu and small touches are a thing. He’s for the most part, a fairly ‘keep cards close’ kind of person, friendly, but he keeps a lot of things private. But it’s body language, space left between the person and himself, and gentle touches that may linger. A hand against back, on the arm, a small nudge of the shoulder – when Sulu loves you, you kind of know. You see it in his eyes and you feel it in the warmth of fingers and hands, always caring, always concerned for one’s health, and always, always the kind to protect. His company, that too. This applies for all sorts of love, really. with variations depending on the person and the intensity. And those where softness isn’t in their kind of relationship, a little bit of roughhousing and a lot of patience ( looking at you, Sebastian Moran. Also maybe a few extra slices of the tonkatsu |: )

[ it’s rude. very rude. richard doesn’t even have a chance to react to the presence of another man in the room, before he finds himself trapped between a warm, nicely shaped body and cold, far too steady for his liking wall. and the kiss follows, making the storyteller squeal entirely in surprise; as the time passes by, he just stays there, allowing sebastian to take what he wants, because it’s kind. it’s polite. a good thing to do. the tiger is his friend and richie likes him quite much… oh. that’s when he realises he’s returning the kiss, glad to at last meet the man’s taste, which is, to be honest, equally lovely. offering a silent purr, richard slides his hands up to the sniper’s shoulders and lets them stay there, once in a while being brave enough to touch sebastian’s cheeks or neck, but only for a moment or two. he doesn’t yet know what the other likes, but then again - he’s quite eager to find out. ]

[ richard doesn’t like pain. it makes him think about childhood and school, and he knows this night is going to be stained with nightmares. again. crimson devours his burning cheek and, with no power over his legs, the actor finds himself storming out of the room, stumbling on the way, to at last stop behind the doorway. the tiger is strong, angry, and richie doesn’t want to receive another hit. he doesn’t want it to hurt. ]             ❝—i’m— i’m sorry. really. i’m s-sorry, sebby….                                      w-would you l-like a cuppa, sebby? o-or anything e-else?❞[ the question is meek and nice-sounding (even if the voice shakes), because he craves to make it better. whatever has gained him the slap, richard can’t stand the thought of the sniper being angry with him anymore; and he may be terrified, paralyzed with fear, but it doesn’t matter. never matters. ]
