TXT Fairytale Game: The Dolphin Prince

This is Soobin’s fairytale from the TXT fairytale game I’m making! In the game MOA (the player) and their friend get sucked into a storybook that has 5 tragic fairytales. The player has to change the tragic endings into happily ever after endings!
This is Soobin’s original story that will be changed thanks to the player! Not all the details of the story are mentioned in the game, so I’ll write the member’s stories out (I’ll do the others when the game is released, this is just a lil taste/spoiler to get y'all interested in the game!
Also yes his story is a reference to the dolphin cult/meme
In this world, all the seven seas have their own respective kingdom. However, only one kingdom rules all seven at a time. When the time comes for a new ruler, eligible royalty of all the kingdoms participate in a series of tests, the one with the most points is crowned the ruler.
This time around, the only known candidate is the Jellyfish prince, who is the only one who will be of age when the next tests are held. Since he was young, the people around him treated him like the next ruler, and he got comfortable with the idea of being the next ruler of the seven seas.
However, a day before the tests were to take place, a new contestant appeared, the Dolphin prince.
The Dolphin prince had spent his youth travelling the seven seas as a merchant with his aunt. He wanted to see what the world was like from a peasant point of view, and listened to those around him on what each respective kingdom needs, and how to help him.
The Jellyfish prince was shocked, his spot as king wasn't as secure as he thought it was. His chest tightened so hard he couldn't breathe, he spent most of his life expecting to be the next ruler, a world where he wasn't just wouldn't process in his mind. He had to win, no matter what.
The tests were long, they started at dawn and ended at dusk.
Once all the tests were done, thousands of people gathered to hear the results. Each kingdom had their best scholars to look over the tests, to judge the results.
The two princes stood straight, backs turned to the scholars, anxiously waiting to see who would receive the crown. The onlookers eyes burning into them.
One of the scholars, crown in hand walked up to the boys, and placed the crown on the Dolphin prince's head, crowning him the ruler of the seven seas.
The crowd cheered and screamed, but to the Jellyfish prince, everything just sounded like muffled ringing in his ears, he didn't know who he was anymore. What was he if he wasn't king? What was his purpose? The Dolphin prince came out of nowhere and stole it from him, he stole his crown! Those cheers should've been for him! He was the ruler of the seven seas! Not the Dolphin prince.
The Jellyfish prince fled to his hideout, a cavern hidden by a wall of vines and flowers.
The Jellyfish prince had a meltdown, he wanted to cry but no tears would come. His throne was taken from him, and everyone else let it happen. The Dolphin prince must be deceiving everyone...he must have cheated...he has to be brought to justice, after all. why hadn't he had heard of the prince until recently? He must be a fake, and fakes need to be punished.
The Jellyfish prince snuck into the inn the Dolphin prince had been staying at. One trick he has as a jellyfish type being, is that he has the toxins running through him, and he can easily control what type and how much poison he can dish out to people.
When he got to the Dolphin prince's room, he used a poison that works almost like a sleep potion. The Dolphin prince quickly fell unconscious, no matter how loud something was, or if he got tossed around, he would be out cold for 3 hours straight.
The Jellyfish prince brought him to his secret cavern, since only him and a select few from his castle knew about it. He bound and gagged the dolphin prince, threw him on the floor, pulled out a knife and...
Not out of empathy, but out of cowardice, he was too scared to have actual blood on his hands, so he just ran away and planned on letting him starve to death.
The next morning the news of the Dolphin prince's disappearance spread like lice.
The Jellyfish knew that waiting for the Dolphin prince to just simply, pass away isn't his best option, so he had to hatch part two of his plan.
While pacing around his castle, he entered the garden, where he saw one of their youngest recruits, a member of the seahorse kingdom. The Jellyfish prince noticed all the tools they had, especially the sickle they currently had in hand.
The seahorse worker was kind, sweet, innocent, and very naïve. They were perfect for his plan.
"Excuse me, are you busy? I need help removing this strange weed, it's in my secret hideout, so I don't trust just anyone with the location, but over the past year you've gained my trust." The Jellyfish prince said to the worker.
The worker's eyes beamed, "Of course your majesty! I'll do anything for you! Don't worry! Your secret hideout will be safe with me!"
The Jellyfish prince smirked. This was going to be too easy. "You promise?" he stuck his pinky out.
"I promise!" the worker pinky promised the prince, and they were on their way.
What the seahorse worker hadn't realized, however, is that during their pinky promise, the Jellyfish prince poisoned him. This type will make him hallucinate, make things seem more distorted than they really are.
When they got to the cavern the Dolphin prince was hide awake, thrashing around, trying to escape.
"Oh wow that's a strange weed, it almost looks like it's dancing!" The worker exclaimed.
"With this type of weed, some strange goo might come out of it, but don't worry, it's harmless, it just might stain your clothing" the Jellyfish prince warned.
The seahorse worker waved him off, saying his work clothes were made to be stained.
The prince said since the weed is so big, and might take the worker some time, he'll go back to the palace and bring the worker something to eat and drink as a thank you.
The seahorse worker was so excited! He was helping out the prince AND he was gonna be personally rewarded by him? This was the best day ever! "I'll make sure I'm all done by the time you get back your highness!" they shouted out to the prince.
The prince made his way to the castle, and the seahorse worker started removing the "weed" that was disturbing the sweet prince's secret hideout.
Once the prince got to town, he ran to the knights that were in charge of searching for the missing prince.
"You must come right away! The Dolphin prince is in danger! My castle has a secret passage way not many know about, I sometimes go there to study since it's quiet, but when I went this morning I saw someone was already in there, and it looked like they had the prince! I came as quickly as I could!"
The Jellyfish prince led the way, to the tragic scene.
When they arrived, the seahorse worker, covered in the weed's "strange goo" was smiling from ear to ear, happy he was able to complete his first personal task for the prince.
