🌳 What is your OC’s favourite way to relax after a stressful day? Do they have a favourite book to curl up with? A hobby? Or do they have a nice bubble bath and have an early night to bed?
Loess spends most of his days on the move between Dragonhome and the Scarred Wasteland, so he hardly ever goes indoors or interacts with others. The perfect way for him to unwind on the road is to burrow a nice, snapper-sized hole in the ground and just chill for the night while contemplating something profound, like why bugs are so amazing or sorting the rocks he collected in order of how cool they’re shaped.
🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them
He’s so solemn, but he possesses such a gentle, nurturing strength. I can see it in how he gently spreads the roots of every sapling he plants. He has so much persistence and passion, but never judges others that attempt to stop him from achieving his goals. And he smells like the gardening section of a Home Depot, but in a stoic, steadfast way what makes me want to bear his enormous rocky children.
💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why?
Loess is one of the only non-Plague dragons that is able to dig into the Contagion without triggering any of its defense mechanisms, which is a large source of puzzlement to other Macrophage dragons. Part of it may be due to the fact that he’s Light and has natural immunity to Plague, but it mostly has to do with his impossibly calm spirit. Somehow, the innate empathy he possesses is so potent that the Contagion can sense it and simply retreats when he digs into it to re-forest the topsoil beneath. Even if he completely fails in his efforts, he simply comes back with more seeds and tries again. Stupid inner peace.
