I am excited to announce that effective, May 15, 2026, I have taken over SNAPPED4U.  When I heard several months ago that Snapped4u was going to close, I was highly disappointed because it has always been a premier website that allowed photographers, including myself, to showcase and sell our work.  Diane started this company in 2010 and did a great job creating an application that made it so easy to sell our photos. Unfortunately, the costs of running the website have escalated exponentially in the last several years and the company is losing money.  My goal is to make Snapped4u both a viable company and the premier go-to site for all photographers, whether you are taking photos of celebrities on the Red Carpet in Hollywood, photos of your school’s sporting event, photos of your friend’s wedding, birthday party, or any memorable event.  No event is too small or too large.  Moving forward requires us to raise the rates that we charge.  After crunching the numbers and looking at every possible way to make this company break even, we have determined that we will have to raise the commission fee to 30%.  That will give photographers 70% of their photo sales.  This is actually the best deal around!  Getty and Shutterstock only give their photographers 15 – 45%.  Alamy only gives their photographers 20 – 50%.  The percentage Getty, Shutterstock and Alamy offer is directly based on sales.  At Snapped4u, you will receive 70% no matter who you are!  Additionally at other websites, unless you have newscaster privileges, there is a waiting period of up to two weeks to have your photos approved and uploaded.  At Snapped4u, there is no waiting period.  Your photo gallery is approved instantaneously.  (Please see our FEES page for the exact breakdown).
