Years ago, fans of musician and actor Christian Kane dubbed themselves “Kaniacs.” Those fans grew to become a community of friends and supporters of one another, not just their namesake. The Kaniac community has always been about more than just entertainment—it’s a family that stands together through life's hardest moments. Over the years, so many of you have generously lifted each other up in times of need. Today, we want to amplify a fan-initiated effort for one of the many dedicated individuals who has helped foster this amazing community spirit: Jeannean Sword. Jeannean, founder of the “Christian Kane Vote & Promote” group, is currently fighting a brave battle against Stage 4 cancer.
To help lighten the overwhelming medical expenses for Jeannean and her son, Dustin, her dear friend and fellow Kaniac, Clarike, has created a GoFundMe. As Clarike shared: “Because of Jeannean, I found courage, friendship, and a whole new world... With this GFM, I hope we can show her our love, appreciation, and help lighten her financial burden.”
