Harshala (@harshalachavan7) brings up a great discussion point about Social Media platforms beginning to copy each other's ideas and lacking originality. She says, "From LinkedIn, Instagram, Whatsapp to Facebook, all major social networks now have this 24 hrs disappearing feature, as if we are going to use this in all the platforms. I think this copycat is a success only on Instagram and Whatsapp to some extent. Though copying by Instagram surely led to a decline in snap users, these guys have time and again come up with new features that are novel and then get blatantly copied by copycat Mark Zuckerberg. I think different users have different needs, and if one thing worked on one platform, it worked for their target audience. This doesn't necessarily mean one's users will adopt the same!
