"Snap-backs" are the caps with the adjustable snaps at the back to make sure the cap fits. Then there are "fitteds" that don't have that. I think snap-backs must have come back in style recently (a year or two ago) and are a trend again, lol.
This makes total sense. I guessed as much, though I hadn't thought about how there has been a comeback for the more classic cap form. …I bet this has been sitting in my asks forever, hasn’t it. I don't even remember when I posted about this. Sorry! X) I go from mobile to desktop on Tumblr, and so I didn't even know I had a message.
Snap-backs sound better than "fitteds", to be honest. More, well, snappy.
:hissboooooo:

Revival, History, & Snap-Backs
It's been quite a while since I've blogged.....I've begun to have withdrawals....and that's a problem. In addition to this problem, there lacks a resolution, really...because this is how my blogs work; I have an issue or idea on my mind & I get this overwhelming urge to write about it. I usually begin the actual writing process anywhere between 1 and 3AM when sleep is evading me for one reason or another, and I just type every thought on the matter until I realise I'm rambling and then I bring it into a conclusion or a, 'to be continued..' This isn't a lengthy process & the amount of effort that goes into it isn't the issue. My problem, is that I simply can't settle on an concept to write on at one time...I seem to want to talk about all the issues all at once...so I get overwhelmed, and I decide to play with one of my mindless iPhone apps, or something to that degree, instead of doing anything even remotely productive. So, writing now, I'm just going to put one of my many current thoughts into text form and maybe THAT will get my creative writing gears turning again.... Firstly, (and probably the only point for this post) here lately I've begun to notice an alarming increase in ignorance in younger generations. By ignorance, I in NO WAY mean stupidity. (Okay, maybe a little. I blame in part, text language & lack of substance in mainstream music lyrics on that matter.) By ignorance, I mean, lack of knowing...if I don't know the speed limit in a certain area, I'm not stupid, I'm just ignorant to that piece of information. I feel that a large percentage of younger generations are increasingly unknowledgeable of many basic aspects of US history, literature, music, things that I've always thought to be common knowledge. I'm not entirely sure what is causing this, or if it's even a legitimate problem, but it greatly concerns me whenever a 16 year old, public school student doesn't know who Beethoven was, who our VICE PRESIDENT is, or what the Magna Carta was...but DOES know every song by Lil Wayne & Tyga, who all of the Kardashians are, and what the difference is between a snap-back and 50 cap is. Granted, the things they know are, "current pop-culture" but seriously, I thought Beethoven's, Symphony No.5 was a universal bit of knowledge. I mean, come on...if there's numerous puns with the comparison of a 'Banana' to it's most distinct part (BA-Na-Na-Na) exist....[*ba-dum-tsssss*] Then they should at least be able to distinguish that piece from the Jaws Theme. Again! Maybe it's not as many people as I think it is, I could be over analysing this, or I was just so completely astonished by the fact that someone actually mistook that piece for the Jaws theme, that it caused me to lose all hope for the coming generations....who knows? Until I figure that out, I leave you, and today's post, with the notion that maybe we should all broaden our horizons and explore some of the classics and history that has built up and moulded the modern world we live in. We could learn a thing or two...
