I made an aimable fan launcher
Uses LEGO for the structure, K'nex for the gears and moving the Launcher itself, and Snap Circuits for the part that launches the fan (15 SC parts were used total) with connectors for the three allowing integration
Oh yeah some leftover parts combined is what one of @your-fave-is-being-blended 's more recent posts at the time of posting is supposed to be
Blend this abomination of building toys please (Lego, K'nex, and Snap Circuits)
Whatever This Is Supposed To Be from @clicktuck-suskriberz is being blended!!
One of the nice things about being stuck in quarantine during the holidays was that I finally had the time to play around with circuits. When I was a kid, I remember playing with Snap Circuits and building noise-makers and AM radios, and this really feels like the big boy version.
I bought a tackle box and filled it with a variety of electronic components, and now I am trying to make a couple of projects each week to learn more about how electricity works. Once I have gotten the hang of things, I plan to buy a couple of ICs and EEPROMS that I find interesting and see if I can wire them up to the Arduino. I would really like to study the chips found in the Suzuki Omnichord and the Texas Instruments Speak & Spell, to name a few. If I ever get to them, I will definitely post here!
Fun with the kiddo.

finding that i have to alter any projects that have the speaker with the music IC by adding a resistor to them even if it doesn't say to, because otherwise the speaker is WAY too damn loud

Snap Circuits - Code Journey Snap Rover Unboxing & Review
Eva and Andy have always been fond of their Snap Circuits projects and this makes no exception while adding a whole new level of mobility to their STEM projects. The kids are equally intrigued by the possibility of integrating the Bluetooth unit with other kits so we can further explore and experiment with other programming options. This should be great fun! Please subscribe for more clips and programming tutorials with Snap Circuits and many other programs.
