Here’s the summary:

During the 1980s, the Korean government created a special summer camp for "gyopo" or foreign born teenagers where they could spend their summer in Seoul to learn about their motherland. While the intentions of the program were honorable, the activities of the teens were not. The program was eventually cancelled after a few years because the government simply could not control the youth. Seoul Searching is a teen comedy and coming of age film, based on a true story about one of the summer camps that took place in 1986.

From this you would think “this sounds like a good/interesting movie” yeah?

Then we actually get into the movie. 

To set the scene: Boys are in one bus to the campsite/dorms, girls are in the other. 

Anyways,

Three characters, three guys, OBVIOUSLY influenced by early Rap (quite possibly directly from Brooklyn) are wearing Kangol hats, sunglasses, sweatsuits, pumas, big chains etc (Warning Flag 1). 

They have a blaccent (Warning Flag 2).

While on the bus they start getting to it with a guy from Virginia, he’s a military academy I think (he’s dressed like he just out of bootcamp). 

The three friends get loud, military dude doesn’t like that, asks them why they acting like niggers, the three friends act offended continue to use “nigga”- (Warning Flag 3, we’re outta the game) 

Honestly, it’s a mess?? Military dude is just antiblack as fuck from what I stuck around to see.

I saw it on when it was on Twitter’s Moments. 

I live in a suburb, so I have to drive, and I HATE it. I lonnnng for decent public transit, and I'd joyfully never sit behind the wheel again. So I say more power to ya!

What bothered you about the scenes with Wanda?

I talk about it a little in another post but basically it was how Wanda seemed to be the lightning rod for all the ire the Avengers had.Tony called her crazy, Bruce threatened bodily harm to her multiple times (?). I don’t recall Pietro getting as much shit from them even though his plan was the same as Wanda’s at the time.
