who cooks normally?: Snafu!  He gets strange hours at work so he usually comes home and starts cooking up a storm just like his Grandmother taught him.  It depends on whether or not Eugene can actually eat it because it's so chalk full of spice that it leaves him sputtering and reaching for water.  He's getting used to it.

how often do they fight?: Not often.  But when they do, it lasts for days with one or both of them leaving the apartment and staying with friends.  Both are incredibly stubborn in admitting they were wrong but eventually (after calling the other and then hanging up before saying anything several times) they drag their sorry asses back and apologize.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Eugene goes on nature hikes by himself or with a club of like-minded students at his university.  He like sitting out in the wilderness and trying to capture it with a camera or his pencil.

Snafu gets up and leaves without telling Eugene every once and a while, usually driving to some obscure backwater city to get ridiculously drunk, gamble, or visit relatives.  

nicknames for each other?: When he's sleepy Eugene will sometimes call Snafu, "Mer."  Snafu just calls Eugene, "Gene" or "Sledgehammah."

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They split the cost because Eugene is too much of a gentleman and Snafu won't hear of accepting charity (even though Eugene is constantly trying to convince him, "It's not charity if we live together.")

who steals the covers at night?: Snafu gets too hot at night so he tends to throw the covers off anyway.  When he's feeling under the weather or particularly vicious though he'll roll up in them like a caterpillar and hold fast when Eugene tries to tug a corner free. 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Snafu would probably give Eugene something stupid and 'ironic' (but Eugene would love it).  In the beginning Eugene used to buy Snaf expensive watches but Snaf would sell them to the pawn shop a couple days later.  This originally hurt Eugene but eventually he realized Snafu just didn't care for material things and didn't see the harm in it - so instead Eugene started buying Snafu auto magazines.

who kissed who first?: Eugene kissed Snafu first.  But then Snafu like . . . attacked him with his mouth.

who made the first move?: Eugene did.  He asked very quietly (over the phone) one day if Snafu would like to come visit him in Mobile.  When Snafu said, "Probably not", Eugene got in his car and drove to New Orleans. 

who remembers things?: Eugene.  Snafu remembers them, he just pretends that he forgets.

who started the relationship?: Snafu.  Eugene had been staying with him for about a week and one morning while they were smoking in his bed, Snafu said, "You might as well go get yourself a key made."

who cusses more?: Snafu.
