What I think Ichimatsu giving and receiving love languages is!!
(( @hollie-san had asked questions about what we think of giving and receiving love languages for Matsus and said I should post it, so here I am!))
GIVING -----
Quality time
Together would mean a lot to him even if it's spending it inside, outside or walking around town to look for cats. I feel it’s a nice pace for him to be able to relax and enjoy the company of someone he loves and cares about. It goes along with naps. He's gonna love taking naps with you cause he feels safe and relaxed (though if you're not a nap taker then he might become your blanket that you can’t escape from…)
Gift giving
We all know these guys are broke and don’t have a lot of money most of the time BUT I like to think he would save up money to get gifts for the one he loves (stresses over the gift picking at times though that's him just overthinking) but he does his best at the end of the day <:] then there's the part where he would actually make gifts! The little artist himself would totally make cat plush toys as a gift (you can even ask him) plus the origamis from cats, to hearts or birds but a plus is adding a drawing as well!
Acts of service (This is also my love for househusband Ichimatsu showing but honestly I see him doing these)
I feel Ichimatsu would help around the place! lets say he’s staying over/moved in he would definitely help clean, cook or even chore that you might need help with! He’ll help try to keep things tidy or tidy up areas that he sees need cleaning up and that's the same with cooking and chores. If you had a long day he’ll be there to help you.
RECEIVING ----- Same goes with stuff above! It goes both ways I think he's a simple creature tbh… 💛
Quality time
We all know Ichimatsu can enjoy his alone time when he needs it but I think he appreciates any time spent with the person he loves (when or if the person he loves is free to!) Plus he does a lot of stuff by himself so having someone who actually wanting to spend time with him makes his day a little better than before…
Gift giving
IF YOU GIVE HIM ANYTHING HE WILL HOLD ON THIS ITEM FOREVER!!! He will protect this with his life literally. HE TREASURES ANY GIFT YOU GIVE HIM!!!! He's making sure no one breaks or mess up this gift.
acts of service
He’s all about fairness so with the info above if you help him, he helps you BUT SRS he just need some love… PLUS with the cats part HE CARES ABOUT THEM A LOT MAN helping him out with looking and feeding the cats means a lot to him PLUS I THINK HE LIKES TO BE SPOILED… SPOLIED LIL MEOW MEOW he’s just coy at times. You make him food? LOVE! Give him good morning kisses or goodnight kisses? LOVE!! You hold his hand or give him cuddles? LOVE!!!
Word affirmation
While we know he has low self esteem and doesn’t talk good about himself I think he would appreciate word affirmation even if he’s shy about it at first! Hearing good things, praise, compliments and encouragement would make him feel good (Plus he needs to hear that stuff more TBH!)
Physical touch (I put this last cause he gets shy and combust into flames or… shits on tables- ANYWAY-)
This one would be the last because it’s a slow process with Physical touch with Ichimatsu but showing him tender and soft (just small steps) of Physical touch so he can get used to it is a big step so holding his hand or cuddling and being soft and tender with him might make him melt but going a pace that Ichimatsu is comfortable with does numbers.
