you were known for being one of the most famous actresses sought after. they’d been right for it, your acting was phenomenal. as much fame as you had, you never really let it get to your head, knowing where you had come from was the most important thing to you. 

not only that but you were also known for the activist and humanitarian organizations you’d created or supported alongside other celebrities, like angelina jolie, phoebe tonkin, daniel craig, etc.

so when daniel craig’s managers reached out to you it wasn’t a big surprise, apparently they had been reached out to by a talk show if they could invite you along as well. knowing daniel was more than glad to pass the invitation along, you accepted. 

you wondered why they’d want you there seeing as queer had just premiered, and that had nothing to do with you

drew had been nervous, he’d be on a talk show, but nonetheless he was a wreck. it took him forever to decide what he’d be wearing, ultimately deciding on a charcoal grey, and white tux with a black tie. he hoped his outfit would be fine for the show.

as he waited backstage for his introduction he paced around nervous, spinning his gold ring on his finger, an anxious tic he had. 

before he knew it, he heard jimmy fallon, “ladies and gentleman, let’s welcome the man everyone's been talking about, he’s rising to fame, the one and only drew starkey!” he announced as drew walked out and shook hands with the bodyguard on his way to the main set. 

hearing the loud cheers and roars of everyone was amazing and he couldn't help but be shook to his core, never in a hundred years would he have expected this. 

he waved to everyone as he made his way over to jimmy and shook his hand, before he proceeded to sit down in one of the couches.

“so drew we’re glad you accepted our invitation, isn’t that right?” jimmy asked the audience, before they all roared in agreement.

“i’m honored, thank you for inviting me.” drew replied confidently, knowing he was nervous inside.

“so we know you’ve been chasing gold for about four years, and now you’re in a queer relationship with daniel craig, james bond, which has premiered if i’m correct?” jimmy asked, knowing the answer but trying to build up the conversation.

“yes, out in theatres about a week ago.” drew replied. 

“how did that transition work, you know, from filming a show where you don’t really have a romantic relationship until recently to a full blown queer relationship?” jimmy asked curiously.

“honestly, a bit overwhelming and a lot of anxiety from my part. not more so because of the transition but just because i knew i had to ace this role. getting the opportunity to work alongside daniel craig and for luca guadagnino was truly the opportunity of a lifetime. whatever time it was, i knew i had to give it my all. sometimes i doubted my performance but daniel helped me and gave me advice whenever i needed it,” drew replied, while he felt himself relaxing a bit as he got comfortable enough to share personal details.

“there was even a time where,” drew began before lightly biting his lip amused at the story daniel shared with him, before continuing, “daniel told me of an experience he had with another co-star. basically when you first film scenes and most of all when they’re scenes like we were filming, the first day on set really is just practice. not reading lines, but actually practicing how certain scenes will go. in our case mature scenes were what we focused on at the beginning seeing as we’d be testing out our chemistry.”

“anywho the point is that once we were literally in the middle of a bed scene, nothing too explicit, and daniel chuckled when i fucked up a line because instead of saying ‘we can’t be doing this’ i said ‘we shan’t be doing this.’ he literally rolled out of bed and said he had to take a breather, i was confused, i mean we fuck up lines sometimes but never enough to call break,” drew explained.

“yeah normally that doesn’t happen, i would’ve been nervous,” jimmy commented.

drew laughed and nodded his head, before continuing, “i was dying of anxiety in the inside, i was like did i fuck up this badly. and i guess daniel could see it written on my face, which is when he walked over and explained how in his last role the same thing had happened with his co-star. and i couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief and literally said, ‘thank fuck’ to which he laughed at as he walked away to get a water.”

jimmy let out a chuckle at the ending of his story, and said, “oh my god i would’ve died of laughter too.” 

drew nodded as he swiped his backhand on his nose, a reflex of his, before replying “yeah i definitely would’ve too but honestly i was too nervous at the time, now i think back on it and laugh about it.”

“actually there was something i was looking forward to, with you here, let’s show this clip,” jimmy said motioning towards the tv for the audience.

before they knew it, drew was being interviewed by a reporter who asked who his celebrity crush was, ‘y/n y/ln’ he answered without falter.

as the video ended drew couldn’t help but let out a chuckle and turned to jimmy while he began, “is that still true?” 

drew knew the answer to that, and nodded, “yeah it is,” he replied confidently.

“we have a surprise for you if you look at the monitor,” jimmy said before motioning towards the tv.

if the world could swallow drew up whole, he’d let it. at that moment. because then and there on the tv, where times he’d stated his celebrity crush was y/n to interviewers and it was playing in chronological order.

as the video ended jimmy looked at him and playfully asked, “anything to comment?” 

drew couldn’t help but cover his mouth with one hand before sliding it down to reply, “genuinely that’d be mine if i could somehow reach her.”

“well who knows maybe one day you will,” jimmy commented supportively.

“unless i get the courage to actually dm her, it’ll be a pending matter,” drew replied.

“why the need for a dm? i’m right here,” you said after making your way quietly behind him signaling the audience to not spoil it.

at that moment, drew froze up, and instantly rose up from his seat but slowly turned around, not knowing if it was real.

as he slowly turned, you waved at him and slightly giggled at his nervous reaction. you waited for him to say something before you said anything else.

as you stood there waiting, drew finally caught a grip and let his charm play out even if he was a train wreck inside. 

“i’m drew starkey,” he introduced, stammering quite a bit. 

“i know,” you replied smiling.

hearing that drew’s brows rose in confusion, he didn’t expect that. he was a nobody and you were everything.

“i was invited to your premiere but i ended up in the er or else i would’ve been there, apologies,” you said, genuinely honest.

drew was lost for words, yet jimmy asked him, “drew you still there or are you too starstruck?” 

“mhm,” drew nodded, not necessarily indicating which one but they could all guess.

he couldn’t get over the fact you’d just apologized for not attending his premiere, gosh he was literally about to faint before he talked to himself in his head ‘get your shit together before you scare her’ which he proceeded to do, and extended his hand for her to shake.

“none of that, my mama taught me better than that” you replied before walking closer to him and pulling him into a hug.

drew couldn’t believe this was happening but reacted fast enough to not make it seem awkward for the audience, at least that's what he hoped and reciprocated the hug. wrapping his hands around your body.

as they pulled apart, you walked up to jimmy and shook his hand seeing as there was a literal desk between you both and greeted him. 

“jimmy it’s been a while,” you commented.

“glad to have you back on here,” jimmy replied genuinely.

“now that we’re dealing with a starstruck man, we actually have a few live questions, if you don’t mind answering them?” jimmy asked.

“of course, ask away,” she replied amused, wanting to know what was being asked.

jimmy read from his phone, “how does it feel to be drew starkey’s celebrity crush?”

“well honestly, and i quote, from the man himself, ‘i’m honored,’” you replied knowing drew was known for his replies of being honored.

next to you drew couldn’t help but smile amused knowing he said that quite a lot, he hadn’t been lying he really was honored. but to hear that you were honored he thought of you a certain way, well that was the most fucking honored he’d be in his life. before, now, or after.

“what do you think of drew starkey and his roles?” jimmy asked, reading off the second question being asked by the audience.

“well honestly, i’m definitely an outer banks fan. i’m glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserved, i’ve been there since season one, people now are barely catching on,” you started.

as you replied, drew couldn’t help but feel touched at what you were saying. he really had just risen to fame this past year, with the new season of outer banks even though he’d been there since day one of the show.

“i’ll admit this new season and the past one that came out, i couldn’t help but feel a tad bit jealous that our local psycho was tied up and locked in with someone,” you admitted lightly, chuckling amused.

“for me this is a situation where i love the actor but hate the character unfortunately, because rafe deserved better, in this season four that came out. sofia betrayed him and genuinely frustrated me,” you explained.

drew couldn’t help but feel touched at how you were talking about his character, because it was something he’d poured his heart into. 

“one last question for both of you before we go,” jimmy asked before a drum roll sound came on to build anticipation.

“have we created a successful cupid match?” jimmy asked, to which the audience cheered, curious as well.

at that moment both drew and you gazed into each other's eyes, “only time will tell,” you answered truthfully, ‘but maybe we’ll get there’ you tried to communicate that through your gaze with drew. 

the cameras cut and now there was a rising to fame actor, holding out his hand for a famous actress to take.

the kooks were known for their obnoxious celebration of christmas on the 25th, it was no debate to them. you were either there or you were cast off.

georgia, your mother always made sure, both you and your brother attended, occasionally your sister when she was in the obx.

it wasn’t a hassle to any of you, since you knew that it was tradition for your family to celebrate christmas, on the night of the 24th. this year you’d invited your boyfriend; rafe, his sister and the pogues, your closest friends. it had been a rocky road, but they could at least be cordial with each other, even friends at times.

you’d decided that secret santa would be done, just to make it somewhat more lively. your mom had spent the whole day cooking away in the kitchen, you tried to help but her only answer was for you to leave the kitchen. it wasn’t that you were bad at cooking, your mom just preferred it this way.

you took it upon yourself to decorate the room where the festivities would take place, and make it look christmasy, your brother helped as-well, deciding to make snowflakes. everything was ready.

so when the guests started to arrive, you didn’t bat an eye. you had all decided on wearing pajamas. and you had chosen some snoopy onesies, your favorite.

the first ones to arrive were, sarah wearing a wine the pooh onesie, and rafe wearing some loose red and black checkered pajama pants with a long sleeved red shirt.

jj came in wearing; sullivan from monster inc onesies, john b; a honey onesie, pope; a mike wazowski onesie, kiara; a elf onesie.

safe to say everyone was on some theme. you had bought rafe a onesie to match with you, but you knew it’d take you begging for him to actually put it on.

so you made your way upstairs and hoped he followed, and he did.

“rafe, i bought you something,” you said, handing him the bag.

rafe looked confused, presents weren’t being opened yet, but he still opened the bag and when he saw what was inside, he let out a sigh.

“i’m not putting this on,” he stated simply.

you let out a sheepish smile, before pouting and asking, “please?”

he shook his head, “no.”

you softly asked again, “please rafe?”

the same answer. you held in a sigh of annoyance before giving your best pout and pleading once more, “pretty please? for me?”

he looked reluctant to deny you again, so you took that as a win and clapped cheerily before he could once again refuse.

if you pretended he already agreed maybe he wouldn’t refuse again, so you did. you opened the package, leaving him dumbstruck but at this point he should’ve been used to it. if he even hesitated for a second when you wanted something, you knew you’d got it.

“here, change, and then come downstairs,” you said all giddy, clapping your hands in excitement, leaving the room.

you were all just waiting for rafe to come down now, sarah and john b were on a rocking couch, sarah sprawled over john bs lap. your mom and brother were on another couch, sitting side by side. and jj, pope, and kiara were on the last couch. which meant you and rafe got the lovesac which was a huge comfortable bean bag bed.

as he came downstairs, jj was in a playful mood so he wolf whistled at rafe to annoy him. which rafe returned with a middle finger and an eye roll.

you couldn’t help but laugh at their exchange and patted the spot next to you so rafe could sit next to you.

after he sat down you asked, “so who wants to go first?”

your little brother jumped out of his seat, and raised his hand excitedly, “me me me,” he pleaded.

you couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, “yes, you can go first.”

he went to grab the present from under the tree before making his way to the blondie, sarah cameron.

“here you go, i hope you like it,” he said with a hint of nervousness in his tone.

as sarah opened her gift she turned to look at him, surprised to see what he’d gotten her.

“how did you know?,” she asked genuinely, before pulling him into a hug. she had actually really wanted this, she’d been eyeing it but didn’t know if she should get it.

“i remember you were talking about it once with my sister, while you guys took me to get ice cream,” he replied softly.

he had gifted her a gold bracelet with charms on it, and a hand drawn card along with it.

“i love it, thank you,” she said, wanting to tear up. something about little kids and their adorableness always hit her right in the heart.

he smiled happily at the fact she actually liked his present. it was hard for him to actually get her something because he kept overthinking everything.

“and i got pope,” sarah said, handing him a bag. she’d gotten him two gifts not knowing if she would be able to secure the one she wanted.

as he took out the first one, he smiled, it was a candle, mahogany scented. he had a weird candle obsession. they always liked to make jokes about it, but it was the one thing that brought him comfort, in an odd way.

“thank you,” he said before pulling out a piece of paper.

“so i want to clarify that i technically might’ve committed identity fraud but nobody has to know,” sarah explained, even though it didn’t make much sense to the others.

pope wanted to cry on the spot, but somehow he held it in, barely though. in his hand was a certificate of 10,000 dollars from a scholarship.

“i- i don’t know,” he uttered, lost for words before sarah cut in, “no need to say anything.”

he grasped into his chest and let out a huff, trying to control his emotions, gratitude overcoming him.

“my present doesn’t seem that good,” he said playfully while his voice cracked, still filled with emotions.

he handed his gift to kiara, “hope you like it,” he said.

kiara unwrapped the gift, and smiled warmly, in it was a bracelet set, not a bead one no. a specific metal with charms kit. she’d be able to make anklets now. her favorite, better yet they were turtles, waves, seashells, etc charms in it.

“thank you pope,” she said leaning in to side hug him.

she then proceeded to hand her present over to john b, “i think this might help out,” she said.

as he unwrapped the box he couldn’t help but let out a chuckle it was all his clothes that’d been borrowed from the pogues, kiara had gone to everyone’s house and stolen them back.

but that wasn’t the only thing, on the bottom was a license plate, ‘P0GU3S’ it read.

“thank you kie,” he said, smiling at her as he planned when he’d be changing out the plate with the one he had now.

“i got georgia,” he said handing her a small envelope he origami’d out of red card stock paper.

unfolding it, she took out a paper that read, ‘spa day certificate.’

“ohh yess, thank you kiddo,” she exclaimed, in excitement, she'd been meaning to make her way into charleston for a massage soon, and this would be the perfect reason.

as she stood up, she grabbed her gift and handed it to jj. to which he received with a smile, he hoped it was something he wanted or needed.

she’d somehow got him the perfect thing, she’d gotten him an orbeez gun, a nerf gun and given him a monopoly get out of jail card to which he scrunched his nose in confusion.

“the guns, because apparently you’re a bullshiter who for some reason won’t let them go, and the monopoly card, is literal. you want out of jail, make a call,” she explained, knowing he always got himself into trouble and at least with that she hoped he’d call even if he didn’t want to.

jj smiled and got up from his seat and hugged her, she had always been somewhat of a mother figure to him and he really appreciated her.

“thank you,” he said, genuinely.

“i got mr. moody,” jj said, as he handed rafe his present.

rafe was curious as to what was in it, there wasn’t much he could actually want, but at the same time he knew that maybe it’d be meaningful, so far everyone’s was.

as he unwrapped it he found a classic maroon steel car model from the 80’s, he was surprised. jj collected these like his life depended on it. When he visited him, he always looked at this specific one, for some reason he had really taken a liking to it but he was never able to find it. and he always had too much pride to ask jj.

“thanks jj,” he muttered still in awe at his gift, he couldn’t believe jj would give him this.

“you better take care of it,” jj said, slightly threatening, but rafe understood why, so he nodded in understanding before grabbing his gift and handing it to his girlfriend.

you had just received a small box, you wondered what was in it. you knew rafe would give you something meaningful. it wasn’t even about money with you or him, both of you had it so there wasn’t any need. as you opened the box you wanted to cry.

“to be seen is to be loved,” you muttered softly, as you took out the locket from the box. it was a heart shaped silver locket.

inside it was a picture of you and rafe, but the kicker he had engraved the back with ‘kookies’ written across. something you often said you and him were. because you were both kooks but also kooky aka crazy at times. you couldn’t hold back and kissed him but before it went too far you pulled away, jj’s fake throat clearing didn’t help either.

“sorry,” you sheepishly said, before smiling at rafe.

standing up you walked towards a big present and looked at your brother, “this one’s yours,” you said before he ran to it and began tearing it apart excitedly.

“oh em gee, thank you!!!” he exclaimed in joy. he had just unwrapped a truck for him. you had charged it overnight so he could use it tomorrow.

“you can now drive,” she said playfully, knowing the car wouldn’t make it too far, but he was excited and that was enough for her.

“we’re not getting him out of that driver's seat for a while,” your mom commented before standing up, “i bought some gingerbread house kits, if you guys want to partake?” she finished off.

everybody nodded in excitement, this christmas would be one for the books. everyone got something meaningful. it really was the thought that counted. and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.

you had been on tour for the last couple months, this was your last show, until next year. you were closing off your tour in your favorite city, los angeles. the city of angels, so you decided to go all out. 

your outfit for the concert was modest enough, at least compared to others. you were wearing a black mini dress with silver rhinestones on the bottom, and an oversized black leather jacket on top, with some silver chunky platform long boots. 

you were singing a total of 20 songs that night, and you had already sung most of them, or 19 to be exact.

juno was your next and last song and you hoped everything went as planned.

it was your time to shine. staring at someone out in the crowd, you landed on the perfect person, the camera zoomed in on them. 

“what’s your name? yeah you in the dark red polo shirt,” you said into the microphone.

“rudy,” the blonde man answered as the audience went wild.

everyone knew who he was, he was an outer banks actor, known for it. 

“oh wow, rudy,” you said, your voice taking on a breathy tone, a light sultry added. 

as you said that the bogus police sirens were heard and the lights flashed for the audience.

“you make me feel some type of way,” you said, feigning hotness, fanning yourself with your hand. 

“i could watch you all day,” rudy replied playfully, flirting amused at your reaction. 

“oh wow, you make me feel some type of way,” you replied, dramatically putting your backhand to your forehead feigning hotness. 

taking the fuzzy pink handcuffs from one of the backup dancers, you walked to the edge of the stage and lowered yourself to a squatting position, to hand him the pink fuzzy handcuffs. 

the security guard handed them to him which he took with a smug smirk. 

god was he in trouble when he’d get home.

you turned around to begin singing juno before the music stopped and only static could be heard.

“what-,” you said, confused into the microphone.

all of the sudden the police sirens were heard again as a man walked out. nobody could tell who it was, his back was to everyone.

“who- what- is happening?” you stammered out confused. 

“you’re under arrest,” the man began as he pulled out something from his back pocket that wasn’t very clear.

“for false accusations,” he said, as he grabbed one hand and began to place it to the back of your body.

soon enough the audience turned into an uproar of shock, excitement, and disbelief seeing as they had caught eye of what had just been pulled out of the man’s pocket,  it was — a dark red thin fabric.

used to tie people up.

the dancer had held onto your mic knowing the skit was all planned, “what false accusations officer?” you asked, feigning innocence.

“the man you arrested. not the hottest in the room,” the man said matter of factly before continuing, “just trying to make things right.”

as he said that he was tying your hands behind your back. 

knowing this’d be the best part you turned your head back, and asked, “can we at least know the identity of the officer?”

you could see his face but the thousands of fans that stood in silence, couldn’t.

as the cameras zoomed in on his back, he grabbed the side of your arm and turned both of you around.

the audience erupted in screams, nobody could have guessed who the mystery man would be, they never would’ve guessed it was him.

“drew starkey,” the audience shouted, as he subtly turned to look at you and smirked.

“actually sir, if you wouldn’t mind,” you said, continuing with the skit. 

you led him to the right side of the stage towards the front and sat him down in the chair one of the dancers had placed and since everyone was shook, they hadn’t even noticed. 

turning away from him you lowered your body just a bit not too much just enough to create an angle and pushed out your tied hands to him.

“if you don’t mind? i have things to do,” you say overly sweetly with your head turned towards him. 

the audience couldn’t believe they were witnessing this, they were baffled.

drew just bit his lip and let out a soft ‘mhm’ as he pulled one of the fabric sides and the knot came undone.

walking away, your dancer handed you back your red sparkly microphone before you stopped in your tracks, and spun around.

“sir, i think we might have to arrest you? right?” you asked the audience, who couldn’t help but yell out in agreement.

walking back over to him you bent down to grab the red fabric that had been undone earlier and tied his hands that he held out in front of his lap. 

taking a step back to admire the view you couldn’t help but fan yourself and turned to the audience, “is it getting hot in here? or is it just me?” you asked the crowd.

“i think,” you began before shaking off your jacket from one side, “i have to take this off to cool off,” you said before grabbing the other side of your jacket and removing it completely. 

leaving you in a black mini skirt with silver rhinestones, and a matching lacy bralette.

“feels better,” you said feigning relief at the cool air hitting you. 

looking at drew his gaze turned into one filled with lust and need, you knew getting home would be a night to remember — not only because of the performance.

as he watched you, you began singing juno, and poured all your heart into it, after all it’d be the last night. and you gave it your all.

as the ending of the song approached, you walked closer to drew and laid down on the stage with one leg going up and bending, while the other leg only bent slightly barely touching the floor.  

microphone in your hand, you arched your back in that position, and tilted your head back to look at drew and sang into the microphone,

“have you ever tried this one?”

the crowd went wild with the position and the fact that drew was literally there. the last of the song wasn’t even heard as it diminished with all the other noises. 

you couldn’t help but smirk at drew, still in position.

his lustful gaze never left, only increasing his desire to have you. 

as you got up from the position you were in, you knew he wanted you as badly as you did in that moment. 

but you had a crowd of thousands in front of you so you fixed your gaze and your composure as best as you could and turned to face the crowd. 

“thank you everyone, whether you’re here or not, all this wouldn’t be possible without the support i’ve received from each and everyone one of you. i unfortunately won’t be doing any meet and greets today,”

you said knowing you and drew had things to do.

“but i will be hosting an event to make up for it!” you said to calm them down knowing they’d been disappointed at first after hearing the news. 

at that moment you could give two fucks if you had to pay for an arena again, you just wanted to get home, and you knew drew did too, they way he looked.

“to end the night, with an announcement, i’d hope is obvious” you said, walking over to drew while sitting on his lap, “this man is mine,” you finished off by kissing him hard.

you could feel his want to touch you but you still hadn’t untied him, and you knew better because if you did, things would go too far. the hard feeling in your stomach wasn't just from butterflies.

getting off him, untying his hands in the process, you spoke to the audience one last time, “goodnight la!” 

and both you and drew walked off.
