Idk, I've been watching the last season of Samurai Jack and...DAMN IT, DAMN IT.In short, all those guys who write or are going to write fan fiction about Zelda with Shadow, I strongly advise you to review the episodes in which Jack talks to his younger self, because this...this is art; the interaction of two sides of the same personality, Jack, serves, in my opinion, as the best example of how Link and Shadow's relationship should be spelled out.
Because the Shadow most often acts as a kind of devil, a tempter who manipulates Link by putting pressure on conscience, pity,a sense of duty or a self hatred. He either encourages Link to do something bad to others, or to himself.
