I am!!! I accidentally stumbled across that video a few hours after posting my ficlet, screamed a lot, and furiously texted ohbthr, i.e. the only other person I know who cares about both fandoms.Â
Although I wasn't totally sure whether the costume was Javert or a relatively restrained Death (all the German Deaths look restrained costume-wise after watching a few Takarazuka productions. Sequins everywhere!), so that is good to know.
(And no need to apologize! It is a pretty reasonable thing to assume, but alas, all my linguistic energy goes into dead languages these days. My two years of German in middle school are just enough to let me keep track of where in a song I am.)
