It is said that all life is tied together in some way. Be it a thread of fate, or an event that transpired once upon a time. People meet during the most inconvenient of circumstances, while others meet during the most appropriate.
This was not one of those meetings. Although I feel unsuitable to tell it, this is a story about how I met someone uncanny. Someone who sought nothing more than to have a simple conversation to kill time. Someone who was much like me in that regard, yet nothing like me otherwise. This is a conversation that needn't happen but occurred over a simple chance meeting.
A meeting caused by accident.
A meeting that should not of happened.
A meeting full of nonsense.
A meeting that took place in the Clockwork Rafters of Techno Solar.
To be exact, it was a chance meeting at the café which resided in the area. An area I looked up and visited to pass the time; to put my thoughts together and figure out why it was I got sent to this world in the first place. Once entering the storefront, I got in line to order a hot chocolate. Apparently, someone ordered the same hot chocolate as I did, and sat at the same table as I did. I know this because it's happening right now.
The boy was seated at the table closest to the window inside of the café. He wanted to spend his leisure time pondering to himself over what it was this world he was brought to is. Whether it'd be a dream or otherwise. Rather, those would have been his thoughts had he not already grown tired and annoyed of them in the first place. He was never fond of puzzles or mysteries like this. There was a change of pace when the [ overly-friendly ] blonde decided to take a seat with him. Ii looked to his right and then to his left. A deserted area, a dying shop is what it could've been called, even. The brunette wondered why it was that this tall individual decided to sit with him. It might be a dare. Was a passing thought of his, and a situation he had been through before. What nonsense.
