(brook doesn't have a banner oops)
@smileimi sent:โฆ. this so called pint was much bigger than she, and she couldnโt very well lift up the cup, so eimi did the next best thingโ leaping onto the table to get near her new so called friend. a conquerer of the seas, captain brook.
having sat beside the other and the ale drowned bottle, the little hedgehog perked up, eyes beaming brightly at the gargantuan sized pirate.
โ ok ok, โ she starts, readying herself so the captain can begin his tales. โwAIT -โ she interrupts, frantically looking down to the little bag wrapped around her shoulders. inside sheโd retrieve an oddly shaped straw. it looked to have the shape of ordinary well rounded frames. at least it appeared that way once she had them on.
once equipped she began to sip from the cup using the same little funny straw. ha! howโs that for innovation?
โ ok ! now im ready ! โ magnolia chimed in, tail wagging rather excitedly now in anticipation for the story to begin.
It was rather adorable, frankly, to watch the much smaller mobian work. The massive Pirate Queen watched her have to leap onto the table itself, head tilted with warm smile at the sight of her staring up in what can only be called star-struck awe. It was a gratifying experience all it's own to see her adjust and settle.
Just as he had sucked in a breath to begin his grandiose tale, there's a pause as Brook is told to wait. He's watching her now, tail idly flicking behind him while she looked through the bag and pulled a straw out. At the very least, it seemed like a straw, given she put it into the cup.
Drinking from a pint with a straw like that brought a mirthful, deep laugh from the Pirate Queen while she resumed her preparations for the story to be told.
"Alright, lil' lassie," he began, giving a light pat to her shoulder. "Let me tell ya th' tale o' how I met one o' me Generals, then."
She's getting herself comfortable, slighting leaning towards the other as she spoke.
"T'was any normal day of sailing the seas when, t' our surprise, a whirlpool opens up 'neat the whole bloody ship! We're all shocked, hanging on for our dear lives, and especially in awe that me own powers aren't righting the blasted thing."
He's beginning a long-winded tale of their ship being dragged beneath the sea, being abandoned briefly at the bottom of the sea and having to make a pocket of air for the crew to traverse the ocean floor in search of what was creating the whirlpool.
