Kotoko had a disgusting amount of snot and tears running down her face? Why…well…she was holding an empty container of her favorite snack…peel chestnuts. How could Shuichi not notice her snacks running low. “D…Do you not love me anymore…?”
When Kotoko came up to Shuichi with that empty container, looking as if she had been crying so hard- “K-Kotoko?” He was about to look so worried for a second, confused at what she’s saying until he realizes- “Ah.” That’s the container for her peeled chestnuts... “Ahh...” (”Oh no... I completely forgot to refill the container....”)
“D-Don’t be silly, of course I do... I just, ah: did not notice quick enough that you were running out of peeled chestnuts... I-I’m sorry.” A sheepish smile, he quickly goes to retrieve some face tissues, before leaning in to wipe Kotoko’s face clean of all those tears and snot.
“I’ll go buy you some more right now, okay? I’ll even buy two bags of them this time, so that we’ll already have another bag ready once the first one’s emptied! O-Okay? I’ll still make sure to notice sooner next time...”
