Alex doesn’t know what to make of Henry’s comment. It was uttered so casually, as though it’s an irrefutable truth and not, in the politest way possible, the stupidest fucking thing Alex has ever heard, but there was an undercurrent to it that Alex doesn’t understand.

“You don’t… Henry, come on.” Alex doesn’t want to fight — at all, but especially about this; he has absolutely no desire to get into some ridiculous cliche slapfight about who loves who the most. “You don’t actually think I’m a better boyfriend than you, do you?”

But it’s painfully, heartbreakingly clear from the set of Henry’s jaw and then tension in his shoulders that Henry believes exactly that.

20. what is your favorite trope to write?

I've already answered this, but I will answer again because it's fun lol. Another favorite trope of mine to write is any type of humor/bantering/bickering between characters. I like to think I'm at least a bit funny.

Hmmm, I'm not normally one to write crack fics or anything, so it's nothing TOO weird, but I had an idea to write a Ms. Congeniality/Best in Show mashup AU for Schitt's Creek, and honestly I'd still like to write it!

I wasn't very sold on Alec at the beginning, the scene where they meet is cute with that big dumb smile Alec has but I was not completely convinced until the following scene (shitty gifs bc I don't have the videos in HD):

Both of their expressions here are heartbreaking, you can see them both struggle with their feelings and I love it. Magnus is so openly hurt and Alec is clearly fighting with himself... This was the moment I completely fell for Malec and now I miss them a lot.

Fuck, yeah this scene is just, it’s so well acted by both Matt and Harry. The thing I loved most about season 1 malec was the palpable tension between the two of them and so much of that was done through facial acting.

How Alec looks at Magnus once he turns around. I genuinely don’t know how Matt did it but there’s absolutely a million things warring in Alec’s mind at that moment and you can SEE all that on his face. Matt didn’t even have to say a line.
