“Sorry!” She called back absentmindedly, not really paying attention. When Cullen caught sight of the frazzled woman bull-rushing him, he couldn't help but smile himself. He opened his arms wide for the incoming embrace, and Delilah nearly tackled him to the ground, her limp armor crashing into his hip

“Maker, Delilah...” Cullen winced with a chuckle, favoring his side as they parted just briefly. “You couldn't wait until they removed your armor?”

Delilah kissed him to shut him up, and she could feel him smiling and losing himself in the kiss. “Not another second...” she whispered as they parted again briefly after a couple moments.

“I guess exceptions can be made on occasion...” Cullen breathed, still trying to regain himself after the passionate kiss. “But you should get your armor removed properly. I'd hate to have to spend our reunion in the infirmary...” he teased.

Delilah pouted in jest. “Shut up!” she replied, lightly punching his shoulder. “I will, but you better not go too far! I have plans for you and I for the rest of the evening.”

Cullen raised an eyebrow with a bit of a smirk. “Very well, Inquisitor.” he said, feigning extreme reverence with a salute and a bow. “I shall endeavor not to disappoint.”

Delilah groaned, barely keeping in the giddy laughter. “You're an ass... but you're my ass, at least. I shall be back shortly, Ser Ass.” She finished with a wink then sauntered away to get the rest of her armor removed. She could feel Cullen's eyes on her as she moved away from him, just the way she wanted them to be.

After getting changed out of her armor entirely, most of the crowd by the gate had dispersed, as had Cullen; Delilah sighed, wondering if the man were capable of staying put. She wandered up towards his office, but she didn't find him there; from there, she meandered over to the main hall, where she saw him talking at the far end with Leliana and Cassandra. As she approached, Cullen saw her out of the corner of his eyes.

“Excuse me, ladies.” she heard Cullen interrupt. “We'll continue this conversation a bit later.” He turned to her as she came near, apology in his eyes. “Sorry, they found me waiting for you and just had a couple of things they wanted to discuss.”

“No harm done,” Delilah replied with a grin. “Now where were we...” She eased close to him, her mouth mere inches away from his; she put her hands on his waist and kissed him again, more deeply and slowly than their kiss at the gate, though equally as passionate. After a few moments, they parted again.

“My...” Cullen gasped softly. “If I didn't miss you so much, I would suggest you should go away more often.”

“Being away from you does make the reunion that much sweeter...” Delilah muttered, staring deeply into his eyes and biting her lip.

“Now, you said you had plans for us for the evening?” Cullen inquired curiously. “May I ask what you had in mind?”

“Oh, maybe some dinner, maybe some light gossip, maybe some wine, a little bit of this, a little bit of that...” Delilah explained whimsically. “Though, to be honest, I think I have something a little more fun in mind at the moment...”

“Oh?” Cullen replied, raising an eyebrow, his face showing considerable intrigue.

Delilah smiled deviously, raising up on the balls of her feet and whispering in his ear. Cullen's mouth dropped open.

“I would say those other ideas can definitely wait,” Cullen nodded vigorously, nearly stammering over his words. “Lead the way, milady.”
