A small idol on the way
It's a small altar, on the way to the pass. An old mossy stone shelter protecting a small featureless statue. Passer-by always mark a stop before them. Some make a small gesture, or drop an offering. Nobody knows why or who is it, but it can't hurt. Un vieil abri de pierre moussue protÊgeant une petite statue aux dÊtails effacÊs par les intempÊries. Les passants font toujours un petit arrêt devant. L'un faisant un petit geste, l'antre laissant une offrande. Personne ne sais pourquoi ni qui. mais ça ne coÝte pas grand chose, n'est-ce pas ? Même les petits dieux doivent se sustenter.
