Jake had just finished packing up for his trip out to LA before tour when he noticed a package nestled on the dresser in his bedroom. He’d received it in the mail a couple of days ago, and forgotten about it; like he often did. A loud groan punctuated the room, and vibrated through the man’s skull… exasperating the migraine that had been plaguing him for two days and counting. Reluctantly, he opened the small box as he moved sluggishly to the small piano in his living room. There, he set up the small cube of a camera; figuring now was as good a time as any.

Adjusting the baseball cap that sat on his head, Jake settled on the bench… trying his best to collect his thoughts through the throbbing pains that he was at the mercy of.

“I’m not really used to there being so much attention on me. Typically, I keep things focused on others so that they won’t notice that anything is up with me. I guess I should probably learn to deal since this show is about to change all of that.” He shook his head, cursing himself for not only signing up for such an extensive tour… but one that took place on a god damned television show.

“I feel bad about things with Spencer, but I do feel like I did the respectable thing by telling her that I’m not looking for a relationship. I could’ve strung her along, let her keep flirting with me… but how is that fair? I get the feeling she doesn’t see it that way though, so I haven’t been talking to her much.”

The somber look on his face soon brightened as he thought on the woman he often referred to as an angel, “I have been talking to Ariana much though.” A light chuckle floated easily from his mouth. “Pretty much every chance I get really. She’s so easy to talk to, conversation is so effortless with her. It’s been nice to have those goofy, fun talks where we build each other up and joke around.” His demeanor changed as he pinched the bridge of his nose, silence falling for a moment as the brunette tried to keep his composure through the pain. “I did really open up to her the other night though, probably more than I should have. She knows everything… as much as Brian knows. They’re the only two people that know the full extent of my health problems. Even when I snapped at Dallon, I didn’t tell him everything.”
