c4: lowest note i can play, barely play it and kind of like the mariana trench in the ocean of notes tbh (i can barely play it for more than 3 beats sob </3)

c#/db: strange, can barely remember where i put my right pinky sometimes, play this note the least out of the low register prolly. can barely play this for more than a measure too

d: *almost* a nice note but i can never remember the fingering + i dont play below an eb very often

eb: ough i LOVE it its really deep and nice, sad i dont play it more often because it feels either like falling asleep or a nice winter day and its just a rlly good note

e: same as eb but even MORE like OHH MY GOD??? i want to kiss this note and get wrapped in it on a chilly winter day

f: yummy yummy note i love this part of the low register, very left feeling note considering the fingering

f#: strange in an alright way, its a little out of tune on my flute i think but thats fixable very quickly, very right side feeling note bc of the change in fingering from f

g: feels like i might be sitting next to the ocean on a cloudy day, good note overall its pleasant

ab: like a cherry red color, a tad out of tune but a good amount of personality

a: brighter cherry red, not quite apart of what i think of the range of most played notes but here and the ab beforehand is where we start playing a lot of these notes. very right feeling again even though basically all of the fingers are on the left side of the flute

bb: staple note, 2nd (tied with the higher octave bb) most thought of note for me after concert f. the bread of notes

b: if i could touch it itd feel a little fuzzy, like a shaved pompom if you can imagine that. offbrand version of bb (even though it would normally be thought of as the original)

c5: in contrast to b, smooth like a polished rock, i either have amazing tone with this or horrible, no inbetween. very open feeling bc i only have two fingers down

db: REALLY out of tune and also a little airy, the most open note i can play. a weird yet-to-be-infested-with-rabies raccoon you see in an alleyway

d: a little airy but not bad, we're back in tune again and this note feels like that uncle who probably got infested with rabies from trying to pet said raccoon and also listens to will wood religiously

eb: eugh. i mean its nice its a stable note but. my tone... its so bad on here... i prefer seeing this on a key signature to not seeing it/seeing more than 2 sharps though. feels kind of like an overworked lower middle class 25 year old

e: we're back to sounding good 🙌🙌 not as smooth as c but still smooth, rich version of eb

concert f: beautiful, reminds me of concerts bc of the name. very purple note, when you say "think of a note" this is what comes to mind. the water of notes

f#: weird eel you fish up

g: nice classic note, never feel bad when i see it. think of a nice apple, thats what this note is

ab: fun twist to the higher octave a, a more deep red, like ou campus red

a: non stressful, good for concerts or the farmland either one is good

bb: staple note i like it. like the sliced bread of notes

b: like the doctors office version of bb

c6: banana, i enjoy it quite a lot

c#/db: kind of the same as the lower octave db but more sophisticated but now it sounds filled with stress almost, while the lower octave was relatively stress free, just very panicky

d: your rich uncle who instead of bringing up politics at the family dinner, brings them down by talking about him and the lower octave d's obsession with will wood. very right feeling notes even though all the keys pressed are on the left, generally a fun note to play

eb: i like it, nice and calmish (as much as a note this high can be)

e: ew <3 no thank you <3 but! sometimes yes please!! when done correctly it sound wonderful

f: if it were a person it would highkey be struggling in a medical major and hiding it poorly

f#: a sardine you find in a can

g: as far as i can remember without a fingering chart or counting ledger lines as well, generally nice note but id rather not hold it for 3+ measures
