Hi so I'm not sure if you're all aware but today is Anna's 16th birthday, and I woke up this morning knowing that I'd write a post about her but now I just don't even know what to say. If anyone deserves a perfect sweet sixteen, it's you. For nearly two years you have been not only my best friend, but one of the best people I've ever known. And that's saying a lot for someone I've never met in person (but I will in 10 days!!!!!!), but that doesn't matter. You are so brave and strong in so many ways and sometimes it breaks my heart to see you have to grow up faster than you should, but if anyone can get through it it's you. You inspire me from the moment I wake up in the morning to be the absolute best person I can and to never give up on what I want in the long run. You make me laugh, you surprise me, and you have more passion in your soul than anyone I've ever known. I hope you know how much you mean to me and how lost I would be without you. You might be four years younger than me, but sometimes I feel like you are so much wiser than me, wiser than people ten years older than me. You see the world differently, and that makes me so much more thankful to know you. You keep everything in perspective for me and even when you're down on yourself, you never let things ruin what's good in your life. Your positivity, passion and spirit inspire me on a daily basis and now I feel like I'm rambling but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about you. Thank you for listening to all my complaints, for painting my dreams for me when I forget what they look like and for being the incredible person you are.
