Retook Sorting and Wand Quiz on Pottermore
Only things that changed was my wand wood and frankly, I've changed since I took it last so it's more accurate now
the wand that chose me
alder wood phoenix feather core eleven and three quarter inches slightly springy.........awesome.....
Pear and Unicorn Hair, 14 1/4 inches, Slightly Springy (above average height, Gryffindor)
The wood (and notes on length and flexibility):
From Mr. Ollivander's notes:
Pear
This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected. I do not know of a single instance where a pear wand has been discovered in the possession of a Dark witch or wizard. Pear wands are among the most resilient, and I have often observed that they may still present a remarkable appearance of newness, even after many years of hard use.
Although not as powerful as its relative, applewood, pear finds itself at home with those of immense wisdom, who understand that confrontation is not always the best path to a resolution. Pear wood is also popular in the production of culinary tools such as spoons and cutting boards, as it results in the least amount of contamination of color, flavor, or smell. This might reflect a talent for culinary art in the wizard or witch, but this quality of the wood is perhaps more indicative of the fact that the wand tends to find itself most at home with an individual that does not feel inclined to impose one’s opinions viewpoints on others. Wielders of the pear wands are very amicable and open-minded, but at the same time, while they do not force their opinions on others, they remain steadfastly loyal to their viewpoints and ideals, especially so if they are Gryffindors. The fact that your wand is longer than average for your height also reflects this. You don’t mind a bit of flourish when casting spells; your magic is meant to be seen. The wand’s slight springiness is not so much an indication of fickleness on the wand’s part, but actually enhances the wood’s ability to withstand pressure and heavy handling without warping or splintering. Because the wood is so resilient, this wand will take easily to any magic with practice, but the nature of the wood makes it extremely well suited for Charms and Healing.
The core:
From Mr. Ollivander's notes:
Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.
Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing.
The wand core qualities counteract some of the properties of the wand wood. Unicorn hair is not a powerful core, and it carries a higher risk for damage than other cores, but luckily pear wood counterbalances it quite well with its sturdiness and flexibility. This combination results in a very faithful wand that will grow and develop with you as you improve your magic abilities. The magic produced by this wand and its ideal partner will be very versatile and hugely successful, and can carry you down any direction you care to go. If you share your wand’s stance on the subject of Dark Magic, I can see a great Auror in you!

Alder and Unicorn Hair, 12 1/4 inches, Slightly Springy (average height, Ravenclaw)
Alder is an unyielding wood, yet I have discovered that its ideal owner is not stubborn or obstinate, but often helpful, considerate and most likeable. Whereas most wand woods seek similarity in the characters of those they will best serve, alder is unusual in that it seems to desire a nature that is, if not precisely opposite to its own, then certainly of a markedly different type. When an alder wand is happily placed, it becomes a magnificent, loyal helpmate. Of all wand types, alder is best suited to non-verbal spell work, whence comes its reputation for being suitable only for the most advanced witches and wizards.
The defining characteristic of alder is its loyalty to its first owner. Because it seeks an owner that is not stubborn or unyielding like itself, but rather, is generous and amiable, we find that the stiffness of the wood reflects not the character of the wizard, but is more definitive of the wand’s character; it is not likely that this wood will perform magic for any but its owner. Alder is not known so much for its power as its suitability to the subtle and nuanced. It will take a lot of work to bring out the full potential of the skills with this wand, but only because it is so sensitive to finesse, which, when mastered, will result in magic with a personal flair that can match any other wand for power.
The core (from Mr. Ollivander's notes)
Unicorn hair serves to reinforce the loyalty of the wand, and it is likely that this wand will not perform magic for any but its first match without great difficulty, despite its fluid cooperation with its first ideal match. Once you master all aspects of a spell, which, as a Ravenclaw, you strive to do, the wand will perform the spell invariably impeccably.
 Length and flexibility:
For your height, your wand is slightly longer than average, emphasizing that while most of your wandwork will be primarily defined by its subtlety and finesse, every spell that you master will have an understated and consistent, but recognizably personal, possibly aesthetic, touch, unique to you.
The springiness for a normally extremely stiff wood is puzzling at first, but on closer inspection may reflect the generosity and considerateness of the owner. While this may not necessarily mean that the owner strives to share her wand with anyone, it may make the wand more inclined for spellwork intended to help others. This wand is very well suited for a future Healer, and will be very difficult to turn toward the Dark Arts.
