It's really busy, a lot of moving back and forth, but we have some quiet moments.

The Big Boy is in high demand in high tension areas so we have to ship it around almost bi-weekly just for the intimidation factor. Every once in awhile though, when the Big Boy is out of action, Andrew works on the smaller tanks. When that happens, I keep him company and we listen to music.

Slide 5. The Mock ups.

These were the mock ups I chose to put in my slide. Like I said previously, architectural illustrations are very versatile and can be used on a number of items. However I decided to limit the items used in my mock up to three so as to not overwhelm the prospective audience.

As such I used three completely different and unrelated items so as to show how differently the illustrations can be used.

The illustrations could be used in a magazine of an informative type such as architectural, cultural, tourism, history and art magazines.

Furthermore it can be printed on decorative cushions centred around a common theme of Architecture. It can be combined with other decorative cushions, bedspreads, rugs etc. of architectural illustration from all over the world.

Lastly, I used a mouse pad because I’ve seen many mouse pads that have artistic designs and illustrations on them. Perhaps someone interested with architectural illustrations would think about buying it.

Again I used the same border I used in slides 2 and 3 to add uniformity to the set. As well as a light brown background to add contrast so as to draw the audience’s focus to the items.

Zeus from Cape Artemision by Kalamis.  Made in 480-450 BCE. Early Classical Found in Artemision. 

The end of the Persian wars mark the beginning of the Classical Period.  Early Classical style from 480-450, started just before the building for the parthenon.

Zeus is seen as the ultimate striding figure about to strike someone who has committed hubris.  Origin unknown. Profile views to maximize the god’s ethos. Meant to see from a profile view. His strong body and power is stretched out as far as he could, and he is about to punish, dispensing justice. His right hand is probably holding a large thunderbolt, a symbol of justice in the Greek world.  He is acting as an agent of nemesis (punishment)   His right foot is raised above the ground, this is breaking the rule of early Classical period.  He also has broad shoulder and masculine looking.We also see new early classical hair style.  2 hair braids across the front and tied up. 

This statue is highly idealized.  We see idealized body of a young athletic body with a wise, older man’s head.  He looks emotionless and stern.  We see sophrosyne.  He is looking perfectly harmonized, symmetrical, a perfect square.    We see ethos: represented as quintessential symbol of justice (dike) There is no feeling, this is the ultimate godlike form.  He is the ultimate justice, powerful, calm, figure.  

Slide Five of my part of the presentation focuses on the Ease of Life which the MyCycles (and no footpaths) have afforded the people 100 years into the future. I decided to do this as a magazine page at first, but decided to change to an online National Geographic article.

To begin, I screenshot-ed the National Geographic homepage, and trimmed the edges off. I then found an image of people riding on segways. I then trimmed the people on segways image, and placed it on the National Geographic homepage. I edited the coloring a bit, the placed words over top.
