Beyonce and Jay-Z, along with their current creative performance family, shot their “APES**T” video in front of the museum’s great works of art. The deeply impacting visual created when Slick and fellow dancer Jasmine Harper settled down in front of the Mona Lisa was undeniable. The image was so striking that it was selected as the cover for the first official collaborative project from the superstar Mr and Mrs Carter, entitled “Everything is Love.” The official video is fast approaching 200 million views. A DANCE A DAY - SLICK My first intro to Nicholas “Slick” Stewart was in 2009 as part of the Ringmasters Crew on America’s Best Dance Crew. I became a fast fan. I remember key moments like the day he signed to Bloc but what I REALLY remember is realizing just how versatile and magnetic a dancer he was… and CONTINUES to become. After 10 years in the game, TEN YEARS!!! Slick is still at the very top of the Industry. This montage contains a handful of old clips but the majority of clips are from his most recent gigs… which happen to be for two of the biggest Queens of Entertainment, Beyonce and Rihanna. (As long as I’m listing the beautiful ladies of the biz, I should throw in Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who called on Slick and LoJoFav Hob_dot to be a part of her music video in 2016 thx to @jonboogz.)
