1) what was your childhood dream job, what is your current dream job?

I wanted to be an artist. now I want to work in women's education in less developed countries probably. or psychology or law or something. I really don't know

2) would you ever get any tattoos? of what?

yeah I'm going to get the venus sign as a symbol for my commitment to feminism in a few weeks and when I'm older I'll get a lupine on my arm with the quote "but I do not know yet what that will be" in hollow type then when I feel like I've achieved my three life tenants I'll get them filled in

3) do you prefer to have lots of attention or not?

depends on the kind of attention but usually I like getting attention bc yay me

4) what’s your ideal type of weather?

either sun with a few clouds at like 72° F with a light breeze or like 60° F with a constant drizzle mmm

5) favorite baby names?

for a girl avonlea for a boy halloway probably and for gender neutral maybe logan or willow I've got a lot of neutral names I keep a list of my favorite names on my phone

6) what musician (if any) has had a the most impact on your life? why? (if not a musician, an author, poet, etc.)

the beatles probably. which is strange bc while I love the beatles I don't listen to them very often but the song blackbird got me through some really difficult times. or debussy. clair de lune makes me feel safe

7) if all of humanity was going to end but you could save yourself and one other person, who would it be and why?

this is hard. I want to say a guy bc of procreation but then the next generation we created would spawn from incest bc they'd be our kids' kids and that's weird. idk. this is hard. maybe my mom. my friend ben would probably help me survive. maybe my friend Maddie or my friend Gautham. I don't get sick of them :)

8) what’s your favorite holiday? why?

4th of july which is ironic bc I really hate america and I'm the least patriotic person in the world but since I was a kid we've gone to my beach house and I ride in the little kids bike parade on our street and pick up candy and get some popsicles at the end then come home and at night we eat burgers and corn and watermelon and build a bonfire and make s'mores and light off fireworks from the reservation. it's great

9) what’s your safe place?

tbh my parents bedroom is really comforting and my bathroom also is all really calm and neutral colors so I like this. my beach house too. I'm calm there

10) do you prefer to be around family or friends?

friends. I love my family but I get tired of them

11) are you looking forward to school this year?

yes and no. I like school and I like the hustle and bustle but I hate the stress and the homework. plus this is junior year and I need to get my grades up from last year and it's a lot of pressure.

What’s the nicest thing someone has done for you? hmmmm probably supported me when I was really upset. told me that it was ok to not feel ok and it was ok to cry and to be mean and to throw a tantrum bc I was in pain and sometimes you need to let pain out, even if it’s not in the most diplomatic of ways

2. What is your family like? my family is very close and very tight. it’s just me and my parents and we spend a lot of time together. my dad is very confusing and I think a little lost. my mom is very driven and I think a little overwhelmed sometimes at how much work she has to do

3. What is your favorite word? ooooh I have one I can’t remember though. syllable is a good word. so is serendipity. andincandescent and luminous and radiant and lace.

4. Your favorite movie or tv show? fave movie is probably about time. ooooh I know what I’m watching today

5. What made you want to join tumblr? my friend julia wouldn’t stop talking about it and showing it to me and said I should get it so then I did but we don’t talk anymore bc she decided I was too clingy and stopped talking to me suddenly over a year ago lol

6. What is your fav quote? (who said it, why is it your fav, what does it mean to you?) hmmmm I have a lot of favorite quotes. there’s probably one from catcher in the rye that’s my favorite (so j.d sallinger said it via his character mr. antolini) and it’s my favorite bc that book narrates what it’s like to feel worthless and confused and overly self-important all at once better than I ever could. it goes “The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.” I also love a lot of quotes I’ve said bc they came from my own mind and I think the fact that I can have my own perspective about the world is pretty special.

7. Would you go to the future or past and why? past probably. I think seeing the future would muck everything up. I don’t want to know what’s going to happen. I mean I do, badly, but I don’t because that’s cheating

8. What are 3 things you love about yourself? haha rn not many. you’ve caught me at my low point for the month. I like my eyes, height, and skin kinda

9. If you could bring someone back from the dead, would you and who? no. I think that’s cheating. things happen for a reason. even death.

10. What’s your favourite thing to wear? I think my pajama shirt that says “domestically disabled” bc it’s so comfy and I don’t think about my weight when I wear it
