What a day. What a year. Exactly 13 months ago I had my surgery. It's changed a lot for me. I've faced many struggles, physically but mostly mentally. Today we had our last meeting with the group. 7 people that I've shared this journey with. 7 people that have seen me break down and cry. 7 people that have seen me grow and shine. My little big family. They mean more to me than they'll ever know. Many people will say it's a new chapter. I'll say that this was book one. I can't describe in words how much good this journey has brought me. But you see it. I wear it. I've never shone this bright.
