sometimes i think my mental health was never bad, and then i remember I went to the doctor after like 6 months of worrying bc I had this lump in my neck that I was sure was cancer, felt it getting bigger, was sure it was changing the colour of the skin above it, felt other lumps on it and surrounding it, it pushed on a blood vessel making me feel faint, never mentioned it to my parents, and then proceeded to be told "...thats your spine" and the entire thing was psychosomatic. i was 9
