U: A pairing you might like to write for, but haven’t tried yet.

Hmm. It’s probably not a popular answer, but I always did want to write a believable, good Sherlolly fic. I never found quite the right way of going into it, though - the Dangerous Minds ‘verse was about as close as I get, and even then, Sherlock was more asexual than hetero in that. (Actually, I just re-read that fic, and with the distance of time, I can still see a lot of Johnlock in there, which is kind of depressing, since I didn’t want it to be Johnlock at all. It’s sort of crazy how much that ship inserts itself into everything, even when you don’t want it to show!)

V: A secondary (or underrated) character you want to see more of in fic?

I love fics that pull any secondary character out and make them shine. They don’t necessarily have to be center stage or have a main role - but they can’t be cardboard cut-outs. This is one of the reasons I really like the character of Mary in BBC Sherlock - in the original ACD, she was totally a cardboard cutout. But in the show, she’s anything but. I have to think that people on both sides of the Mary wank would agree with that statement.

Sherlock shoved Sebastian against the wall, hands balled up in his shirt. “You bloody idiot. Stupid. How could you be so stupid!?”

Sebastian blinked as he looked down at Sherlock. “I was saving your arse!”

Crashing his lips to Sebastian’s, Sherlock pressed himself against Sebastian. There was a desperate, feral quality to the kiss as Sherlock’s tongue demanded entrance, a low groan escaping him as Sebastian acquiesced. They parted, panting and Sebastian pressed his forehead to Sherlock’s.

“Easy, my fallen one. Easy. You can’t get rid of me that easily. Couple of bullets sent my way haven’t got rid of me yet. Those bastards are dead and I’m fine.”

Right now, I've got both that, and my ASiS documents open, trying to decide which one to focus on first. Because, on the one hand, I've got the plot already entirely set up on ASiS, but I'm three published chapters into it. The other hand, I've done a bunch of research for the burlesque au, but I still don't know how to write Adler.
