The Ocean // Tonight Alive
Slam Dunk 2013
Slam Dunk 2013 was a fantastic day and the first festival I have ever been too. They gave out free monster which made it even better. We stayed at the main stage for most of the day (right at the barrier for every band we saw there). We later moved from the main stage to the monster one to see Pierce The Veil and Memphis May Fire.
The bands I saw that day were;
Mallory Knox
Tonight Alive
The Summer Set
Sleeping With Sirens
Deaf Havana
Memphis May Fire
Pierce The Veil
We Are The Ocean
so i went slamdunk on Monday, and had a fucking amazing time. but now i'm back at uni stressing over exams, when all i want to be dreaming about is mikey chapman.

Slam Dunk South 2013 Survivors!
SLAM DUNK SOUTH 2013 : THE FLAT TIRE/VIP ADVENTURE: So we stayed at Si's (handsome chap bottom middle) night before so we could leave early on Sunday for the 2.5 hour drive to Hatfield. Driving happily along listening to Pop Punk and Jazz music, sun is shining down when suddenly BAM! Just outside cambridge at the turn off to some tiny village got flat tire! This was at about midday, 2 hours later and after AA can't get wheel off we book a taxi for the 5 of us to take us the rest of the way...for £106.93, with most my stuff still in the car. So we get to Slam Dunk at about 3, which at least means no queue and so follows a day of Snakebites, sunburn and great bands. Met some great people, got to finally see Andrew Mcmahon live and hear all the Something Corporate classics from my teenage years. We then ended up at the Afterparty and somehow spent the whole time in the VIP bar upstairs on the balcony with all the bands and their women folk. Had to spent the night sleeping in a friends car and next morning they gave us a lift back to Norwich after some well needed fast food and the use of the shower in their hotel room. All in all and amazing time with great people. Wish I could be involved with something like that as a job!
