Three wise men at Slaggan by A KAY Via Flickr: This was taken at the ruined village of Slaggan - last occupied in the 1960s. Slaggan is a 3 or 4 mile drive along a rough track from an unclassified tarmac road a few miles north of Laide on Gruinard Bay. The track ends above the wonderful sandy beach at Slaggan Bay and is worth the trip just for that. At the start of the track is a sign "Unsuitable for motors except rough terrain vehicles". Ignore that, you can drive it in a Mondeo WITH CARE.
