Oh, I love that! First of all, Bruce is a captain of their squad, Dick and Jason are both lieutenants and the rest of the batfam are sergeants (except for Damian who's still too little to join the army and he absolutely despites that fact).

Slade is a colonel for two reasons, one that he's canonically a colonel in comics and two that (to my understanding) colonel stands higher than captain so he can rub it in Bruce's face whenever the Bat pisses him off 😂

Sladick would be in a not-yet-relationship where they are already in love but are too dumb and dense and won't talk about it. So they're pining for each other while (and fucking) while being in a not actually unrequiet love

If I had to write something about them I would probably write it as a mission fic - Dick's squad would be send out to deal with a threat, Slade would be there with his people as well. Dick would get hurt (because it looks like I'm in a hurt/comfort mood today haha) and the bad guys would try to take him with them as a leverage.

Dick is not having a good day, but he gets saved before they can kill him and prefferably, it's Slade who saves him and he does so by shooting the guy holding Dick in a dramatic scene, in almost ghostsoap move because why not since it's a cod au 😂💕

It would end with Slade visiting Dick in hospital and Damian following Dick everywhere he goes after he's discharged 🥰
