im literally so happy ur back so can i get some skuwalker au stuff where the reader chronically falls asleep all the time
The first time you lose consciousness out of the blue, Anakin is moderately panicked, but after he rushes you to see all manner of doctors, the prognosis is far from immediately deadly.
As your sleeping episodes occur, they still never fail to worry him, but but he becomes more accustomed to them as time passes.
Your condition does change of good deal of your lifestyle and how you approach your training as a young padawan.
Anakin has to be doubly aware of your condition, as does Luke. And together, the both of them attune their senses to that they are better able to predict when you might lose consciousness.
Perhaps the most terrified Anakin had ever been (not that he would admit it to anyone, except maybe Padme), was when he was coaching you through some more advanced moves in Luke's X-Wing and you keeled over and started to snore. His first instance was to steady the ship, and then tend to you. You were, of course, just fine, but it still made Anakin's heart stop.
Since your own Force abilities are still in their infancy and in rapid development, none of the Skywalkers leave you on your own for very long. During the day, either Luke or Anakin are by your side, overseeing your training. In the evenings, Padme makes sure you are well taken care of and closely monitored.
On the off chance that none of those three are close by, your Aunt Leia is always willing to lend a watchful eye. You're always grateful to be with your Aunt. She has that perfected that balance of making you feel cared for but not completely smothered.

âAnd that is the end folks! With the rookie taking first place! Can you believe it!?â
As the announcerâs voice called for all betters to collect their winnings at the booth, you walked your bike to the main hangar, feeling plenty dazed by the post-race adrenaline finally wearing off.Â
One season.Â
It had taken only a single season for you to reach that coveted goal of actually taking home first prize in the treacherously fast speeder-bike races. The Coruscant underground had never seen one so young make such an ardent comeback; from placing in last for several races to placing in the top three the past few weeks, many spectators showed their confidence in your promising skill and vigor by betting heavily on your highly anticipated success.Â
Still, the months of racing and having many close encounters with violent crashes left you grateful for the end of the season. Now you could find the time to rest and recuperate from the hell you had willingly put yourself through. Not only had you risked great physical injury and even death, but the just as frightful rage of your family.Â
It was an odd act of tact and grace, formulating a believable front to cover for your underground activities. You had settled on telling your grandfather that you had taken up shadowing some of the New Republic scouts for the tactical experience, which wasnât a complete lie. It was simply a half-truth you exploited for all its worth. No less than six days a week you made your way to the scoutâs hangar and accompanied them on some of their assignments on and off world; it just wasnât for the length of time your grandfather believed. Leaving early gave you ample time to make your way to the lower levels of Coruscant without rousing familial suspicion. Â
When your bike was securely locked in its own garage unit, you started the journey home, knowing you would be expected back soon given the late hour. With your more aerodynamic uniform replaced with your traditional robes, you walked confidently back into your familyâs dwelling.Â
Your pace became slow as you weaved through the corridors, finally finding solace in your own room by collapsing face first onto your plush mattress.Â
âThought a regular champion such as yourself would be moreâŠcelebratory than this.âÂ
Quickly sitting upright you could just make out the sight of your grandfather as he strode past your threshold, his arms crossed securely in front of himself.Â
âH-Hey!â You smiled, hugging a pillow close to your chest. âDidnât see you thereâŠâ
A mischievous smirk spread across Anakin Skywalkerâs own face, but was mostly masked by his neatly trimmed beard.Â
âThatâs the purpose of walking so quietly. But I wonât be so easily sidetracked. Shouldnât you be out celebrating?â
âCelebratingâŠwhat?â
His smirk evolved into a splitting smile as he sat down on the end of your bed. âOh come on, quit playing dumb. Iâd recognize the smell of oil and grease anywhere. It takes at least a day to get rid of the smell, kid.â When you remained silent, Anakin continued. âSo when were you going to tell me you were a speeder-bike racing star?â
â...When I was old enough to competeâŠâ You answered quietly, wanting nothing more than to disappear under the blankets of your bed.Â
âWhich we all know is a while yetâŠ.Hey, donât look like that.â Your grandfatherâs hand playfully pulled at your ear. âIf I wanted you to stop I would have pulled you out at the start of the season.â
Swinging your head to the side, you looked at Anakin with wide eyes.Â
Amused at your incredulity, he gave a soft chuckle. âWell, Iâm guessing you must be pretty exhausted after taking the season title. Better catch up on all that sleep youâve been missing. And donât look so worried.â Flicking off the light to your room, Your grandfather placed a hand over his heart. âI swear this will be our secret, okay? Except I might let Uncle Ben know, heâll be thrilled. Just promise youâll take me around the track on your bike!â
