The "heartless" dragonborn and their 6 adopted kids pre ordered goons (i forgor the faces also i hate it)
Anyway skyrim wip wednesday part 2 since yall seemed to like that
mmmmm followers my belovds
family dinner but i think i said something questionable considering the stares (inigo dgaf)
And here are my Mermay drawings, which I published on DeviantArt before.
The first one features my Skyrim OC Aldia and Radan, along with the housecarl Lydia, drawn as a Selkie.
The second and third ones feature three of my Skyrim OCs: Aldia, Radan, and Bleis, all as Selkies.
And the fourth one shows Aldia and Radan with Sofie (all three as Selkies) and Lucia with a dolphin tail.
For those who wonder what a selkie is, it comes from the legends of Shetland, an archipelago of Scotland. These are women who put on a seal skin to transform into this marine animal and swim in the sea. But as soon as they come out of the water, they temporarily take off their skins.
Guess who got Skyrim! This is my first Dragonborn. Her name is Koray. She is a warrior how special in two handed swords and she also have a bit of stealth archer. She adopt Sofie and Lucia as soon as she had a function home. She later joined the companion and shortly after Kodlak Whitemane’s death/cure of lycanthropy she married Vilkas.
Aela adored each of her children equally, both born of her body and adopted by her husband. Markus had done a remarkable job raising the orphans that had been left around Skyrim.
Lucia had grown into a beautiful young woman, and had gone on to marry a young nobleman when she had turned 17 winters. She now lived in the Imperial City, but frequently made trips to Skyrim to spend time with them.
Sofie had blossomed under the tutelage of herbalists and healers, and now in her 18th winter, was considered one of the best healers in Whiterun, having trained with Danica Pure-Spring for the last decade.
Blaise and Alesan had become fine warriors, growing in strength and brilliance, and making a name for themselves within the Companions. Now that they were full members of The Circle, and had been gifted the beast blood, they could frequently be seen traversing Skyrim and as far South as Leyawiin.
She thought fondly of their children, her eyes drifting over to Dengen and Eruki, watching them play and spar together, noting just how quickly they were growing themselves. The two of them were glued at the hip, and it took everything in Markus and Aela to separate them just long enough for their nightly baths.
Dengen was very protective of his sister, and would proudly fight anyone to keep her safe, his beast blood howling within him whenever someone so much as looked at Eruki the wrong way.
Aela couldn't be prouder of her children. And soon enough, another would join them, running through the streets of Solitude, following his or her siblings in their own training, and traveling with them to Bruma to visit Markus' family.
She absently rubbed the swell of her belly, smiling fondly as she saw Markus approach, the children running up to him before leaping into his arms, wrapping their own around his neck as he carried them up the stairs to the patio, depositing them back onto the ground before ushering them inside to get cleaned up for dinner.
He smiled, leaning over to capture Aela's lips in a tender kiss before gently nipping at her bottom lip, a hum leaving him as he pulled back.
"Enjoying the sunlight, love?" He questioned, taking the chair opposite hers as he leaned back against the back rest, his long legs stretched out to the side as he gazed at her.
"Yes... And thinking of our wonderful children. Every single one of them." Aela replied with a smile, her right hand cradling her belly as she smiled at him.
"Ahh, speaking of children, I received a letter from Lucia. She's well and is on her way from the Imperial City to spend a few days with us. She wishes to see her siblings." Markus chuckled, basking in the smile that illuminated Aela's face.
"Oh my sweet girl! We must get ready for her arrival. I'll have Jordis get the spare room ready for her. I won't have my daughter sleeping at the Inn." Aela remarked, pushing herself up from the chair she had occupied, straining slightly before rising to her full height.
Markus rose as well, gently wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her against his body, smiling down at her before pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
"I'll get the house ready to host her. You focus on resting and conserving your strength for our pup." He hummed, pressing his palm to her abdomen. "Let me handle that much, darling. You already do so much for us, now it's my turn."
"Ha! As if you're not the one who put this pup in my womb? I believe you've done enough, dearest." She teased, making him growl back at her, his eyes glistening with mischief.
"Shall I remind you just how I put that pup in your womb, love?" He whispered, his lips against her ear, making her shudder with the anticipation of it. "Now I won't hear another word of you saying I've done enough." He chuckled then, leading her into the house with a smile. "Rest."
"Yes, dearest. Whatever my doting husband demands of me." She replied with a laugh, making her way into the dining room to sit at the table.

lucia told me that she would go fishing with her other father. and that with her help, he might even catch something. the funny part: he is an argonian. i just imagine him jumping in the water, trying to catch a fish and failing, only to look up and see the little human girl with a fish in her hands.

Being a member of the Thieves Guild proved to be busy. Adi had a new job every time she re-entered the Cistern, finding herself unable to say no whenever Vex or Delvin had something new. It was good for the Guild’s reputation, word quickly spreading that they were back in action. Adi, however, needed a day off. A couple of weeks passed since she joined, and it had been nonstop work since.
The last job Vex had for her was from Romlyn Dreth, a Dunmer who needed someone to smuggle a small keg of Black-Briar mead to the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead. It took a day to get there and back, Adi feeling relieved as the gates of Riften were in sight.
On her way to the Guild’s entrance, she spotted two familiar faces in the market. One was a boy, around eighteen years old. The other was a girl around sixteen. The thief recognized them as Aventus Aretino and Sofie, two orphans from Windhelm that she brought to Honorhall once Grelod was taken care of.
“Adi?” Aventus spotted her and ran over, Sofie following.
“Aventus! Sofie! How are you both?” she greeted them happily and gave them hugs.
“Good!” they chorused.
“I’m getting ready to join a specific organization,” Aventus looked around, making sure no one could overhear them. “Although I heard they moved base?”
“In the Ratway, although it’s a maze,” Adi recalled her first trip through it. It was unpleasant and there were too many skeevers and bandits. “You need to go through the Tavern. There’s a door to the Warrens which connects to the Sanctuary. I can bring you as far as the Ragged Flagon?”
“Are you not with them anymore?” Sofie asked. She wasn’t at all oblivious to the Dragonborn’s true lifestyle. Aventus told her about it, a little too excited for a kid, as Adi helped them prepare to leave for the Orphanage.
“I am! Just taking a break,” Adi said. “What about you Sofie? Any plans after Honorhall? You’re at the age where you can leave if I’m not incorrect.”
“I don’t want to be too far from Aventus,” she answered. “So I might stay here. Maybe join the Thieves Guild?”
“Why don’t you come with us to the Flagon?” Adi offered. “I can introduce you to Brynjolf. We’ve been getting a few new recruits, and he’s the best person to talk to about joining.”
“Sure!”
Adi led them down the wooden staircase to the Ratway entrance. When they entered, Adi found the shortcut to the tavern open for once. “It’s not usually this quiet, I’d be cautious when going through the Warrens.”
Much to her surprise, Adi found Nazir sitting at one of the tables. He wasn’t one to leave the Sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. He must have had a meeting with Delvin. “Nazir! We have a new recruit.”
“Good to see you, too, Adranelle.”
“How many times do I have to tell you to call me Adi?” She sighed, taking a seat at the table, a wave of exhaustion hit her.
“Enough,” he laughed. “Now who’s this?”
“Aventus Aretino.” The boy introduced himself.
“The one and only,” Nazir sounded impressed as he leaned back in his chair and studied him. “You were the one that wanted Grelod the Kind dead if I’m not mistaken.”
“Yes, I am.” he nodded.
”Hm,” the Redguard looked at Adi. She gave him a small nod, telling him the kid could be trusted. “Speak with Svana in Haelga’s Bunkhouse. When you’ve succeeded and she’s given you the reward, come find me in the Sanctuary. Adi will tell you how to get in.”
After Aventus got over the initial shock and Nazir shooed him off, Aventus left the Ratway to fulfill the contract. With that, Nazir bid Adi a good day and disappeared into the Warrens. Adi turned to Sofie who stayed in her seat next to the older woman. She looked out of place, but that would change with due time. “Are you alright, Adi?”
“Just tired,” she nodded. “Once we speak with Brynjolf, I’m off for a nap.”
“Lass! You’re back.”
“Speak of the devil,” Adi chuckled. “Bryn, this is Sofie. She’s interested in joining the Guild.”
“Nice to meet you,” Bryn smiled at her. He quickly turned to Adi, putting a hand on her shoulder. “Get some rest, I’ll get the new lass oriented.”
“Thank you.”
***
Metal clashed together rhythmically as they sparred. Brynjolf had seen Adi in action before, but it didn’t occur to him how skilled she really was in a fight until now. The girl was short and thin, using her size and weight to her advantage. It often caught the thief off guard, leaving him to fall on his back or lose grip of his daggers. It almost seemed as though she trained beyond The Dark Brotherhood…
“Lass, can we take a break for a minute?”
“Sure,” she offered her hand to him, pulling the thief up with ease.
“Where did you learn to fight like that?”
“Some targets aren’t as easy to kill,” she shrugged. “Plus I spent a year in Whiterun. Got assigned a really complicated contract and had to join the Companions. Still friends with them, actually. No one suspected a thing.”
“It’s been a busy decade,” Brynjolf noted, taking a moment to sit on top of a chest and catch his breath.
“No kidding,” Adi sat on the floor in front of him and leaned on his legs. The two of them took the moment to rest, the only sound being the rush of water in the Cistern.
“Is there anything you need training in?” They had the training room for at least another hour, with most Guild members out on various jobs. Brynjolf figured they should take advantage of that time.
“Hand-to-hand combat.”
“Perfect.” Brynjolf had mastered the combative style, this would be easy for him. “Why don’t we do that now?”
Making their way to the center of the space, Brynjolf instructed Adi on the proper form. After he adjusted her slightly, the assassin trying to hide the sudden burst of nerves from how gently he touched her, Brynjolf instructed her on how to block and attack.
After a few practice rounds, they jumped into it. Adi stumbled a few times, trying to figure out Brynjolf’s tells as he swung at her repeatedly. The punches he threw weren’t hard, the Nord being careful not to hurt his friend. “Bryn, stop going easy on me.”
“You sure, lass?”
“Never been more sure in my life.”
“Alright.”
The attacks came at a faster speed and were much harder when they landed. Adi managed to just barely dodge a few, finding herself losing balance at the panicked movements. She threw attacks of her own once stable, but Brynjolf reacted quicker than she expected. He knew her tells, and used Adi’s habit of speed and sneak against her. When she got close enough, Brynjolf threw a surprise attack and pinned her to the wall.
Out of breath and caught by surprise, Adi stayed there under his mercy. Brynjolf braced his hands on the wall at her hips, trapping the assassin. She noticed his pupils dilate as he leaned in, the nerves she felt from earlier growing. Just as their lips were about to touch, Brynjolf smirked. “You’re overthinking every move.”
“Well, what do you suggest I do about it?” She breathed.
“Focus more on what I’m about to do,” he instructed, shifting slightly so he could look at her. “Through that, you’ll be able to figure out my tells. If you look for them right off the bat, your opponent will easily overpower you. We’ll do it again.”
“Alright.” Adi and Brynjolf separated, much to the assassin’s disappointment, and moved back to the center. After getting back into a fight stance, Brynjolf nodded at her to start. This was going to make for an interesting hour.
No matter what, I always adopt Sofie from Windhelm. She deserves a family most I think (and a little bit Fanart).
