“Sky what are you doing?” said Kermit wondering why his friend was sitting in front of a small pond. Upon hearing the others voice Sky turned and smiled.

“Oh, hey dood, I was uh, looking to tell you something” he said nervously scratching the back of his neck. A light blush started to form on his tan cheeks.

“Oh cool, what’s up bro?” Kermit asked smiling, his fluffy green hair gently floating in the afternoon breeze. Sky look down, almost shamefully, Kermit swore he saw fear in the others olivine eyes.

“Well it’s just that I’m bi and I kind of really like you.” Sky mumbled the last part, bracing himself for the entourage of hateful words to come. Kermit on the other hand was confused but happy for his good friend.

“No problem dood, but could you repeat the last part I didn’t quite catch that.”

“I really like you…”

“Come again?”

“I, l-love you…”

“One more time…”

“I LOVE YOU!” sky gasped, clamping his hands over his mouth. Had he really shouted that? A quick glance at the other’s slightly startled expression said so. Sky inwardly cursed himself, hot tears threatening to fall.

‘Great! He’ll never like me back. He probably hates me now! Nice going Sky you just lost one of your only friends! You’re such a loser!’ the brunet’s thoughts were interrupted by Kermit whom had wrapped his hands around Sky, gently kissing his forehead and whispering words of comfort.
