Sora shook his head at the older women’s question, staring at her with curious eyes. She’s his first visit and in fact, she was there when he woke up. He was greeted with a hug and many kisses and her being grateful for him waking up and not leaving her alone. Of course, he was so focused on her that he didn’t even notice there was another girl in the room; looking a bit younger than him, who practically did the same thing. Just a little more…energetic. 

He didn’t mind the attention he was getting, assuming that they must be important to him from the way they’re reacting to him just waking up. He is pretty confused though, as to why everyone’s getting so worked up over him waking up. 

The brunet was quiet for majority of the time as he was told what had happened to him and then they slowly went to explain who the two women were and as to why they look so happy to see him. He makes a mental note that the women called ‘Anya’ is his ‘mom’ and the girl called ‘Katie’ is his ‘sister’. No one brought up his dad, seeing as he didn’t…remember him and thought it’d be better off if they didn’t bring the heavy topic up. 

He was then told about his ‘friends’ waiting for him out in the waiting room — whatever that is — and they’d be seeing him later on. They could only allow family members to see him before they let him rest more, and then allow Kairi and Riku see him, too. 

Ratchet was careful as he tucked Anya’s hair behind her ears to get it off of her warm face. She was undoubtedly feverish, and like she had done for Ratchet when he was small, he had elected to take care of her until she felt better.

♣ wiping away tears

Ratchet held onto his bloody knee as he continued to cry softly. At the ripe age of five, even small mishaps like these still shook him up. It wasn’t until Anya came and wiped away his tears that he finally started to settle down.
