date: July 26, evening location: Floor 5: Lounge and spa

After a long afternoon of skating with Blue, Salem hurt in places he didn’t know was possible to hurt. He was glad that the palace had a spa that was available to guests because he could really use a trip to the sauna and maybe a dip in the jacuzzi. It was relatively affordable, and he was glad the attendant didn’t make a lot of small talk as they gave him a quick tour of the place before they left him alone. He stripped down and left his clothes in the locker, taking the complimentary towel and wrapping it around his waist as he put on a pair of guest slippers. He made his way to the sauna and was glad to find it empty as he scooped up some water and put it on the coals before sitting down on one of the benches and closing his eyes.

There was still so much he had to learn when it came to the ship, and he’d much rather plot out routes on his tablet then on this large screen, but it was much easier to disseminate information this way. Salem panned out the screen and watched the map glitch and zoom back into an obscure location in the middle of nowhere before panning back out again. “Does it need a software update or did I do something wrong?” He asked, hoping he hadn’t broken it or something. He didn’t think his paycheck could cover repairs. He looked at Skylar patiently as he looked over the screen. “Did you want some tea, by the way? I just brewed some.”
