â : give the first lines of a song which is originally in your languageÂ
In Corsican:
Fideghja lu to fratelluLi stinghje una catenaA listessa ch'Ăš a toiaA noi tutti ci mena(Look at your brother; he wears a chain. The same as yours; thatâs what awaits us all).
A Catena, Chjami Aghjalesi
(My dear daddy, today is the mi-CarĂȘme, and here you are, disguised as a soldier. My dear daddy, tell me if itâs a joke, or if itâs to scare the small children away.)
La Strasbourgeoise, military song
_______
â : funniest word in your language
In Corsican:
Pumataghju. Sassy word used by Corsicans to designate, most often, French or foreign tourists who have a tendency to have very bad taste in fashion, be rude and wear socks with sandals.
In French:
Gosse. I find it funny because in French-French slang, it means a âchildâ, and in French-Canadian slang, it means a âtesticleâ.
______
⟠: favourite word from your language
In Corsican:
Castagniccia. Itâs a small village thatâs reputed to make great chestnuts, in the Southern part of the island. I love chestnuts. But I canât think of another word right now.
In French:
FraternitĂ©. Itâs in the national motto, I like the sound and I like its meaning.

Is it okay if it's incomplete and a collection of short stories ?
