Since the old version of ‘Broken Wings’ one of my longer fanfics is apparently gone for good after my last blog’s shut down, I’ve largely considered creating a new revision of it which this art piece would compliment well enough.

The passage below is one I play to add into said revision

“As Jake looks to his sticks unceremoniously tossed next to him, he take a quick glance all around. From his best friend in left suspended in chains with a sickly green glow around him as he pleads fruitlessly to back down, the many cage pens all over this arena with many other children who will become other victims like the ones he found at Humpty’s shelter not too long ago….and the tally mark riddled demon of a man staring right at him with a wicked grin, butcher knife on one hand, the one responsible for all of this; he knows….he has to, no matter what Chris says. He won’t let his buddy nor especially the other kids suffer that same fate as those slain orphans, not if he can help it. Picking up the sticks and readying himself, Skybird, as his bare feet stand on that red stained granite floor, takes a deep breath.”
