just finished part 3 of skyverse and HELLO. the main twist aside (which DID make me lose my mind fyi). Hell not being an eternal punishment but the longer road to heaven for people that need redemption. SOUNDS FAMILIAR.

You are so right for saying that the reveal in Part 3 of Sky Verse is one of the best. I DID metaphorically gasp. Which part of Sky Verse, as a whole, is your favourite and why?
oh that's an impossible question, there are so many wonderful moments!! in general, i think this author does an amazing job at making conversations flow the way people actually talk - they go off on tangents and lose the thread and everyone has different vocal tics, making the dialogue feel realistic and very genuine. also, everyone is always giving dean shit, which is delightful :-)
some favorite bits that have stuck with me:
heaven looking like vancouver to dean
gabriel throwing a changing channels style temper tantrum that was clearly an excuse for the author to recast tfw in a number of their favorite television programs (star trek natural!!)
the "choosing a password" conversation in which sam tricks dean into having to say he loves demons every time he has to prove he's himself
michael having the same feelings-conversation with lucifer that dean is always having with sam about their father
^ on that subject, a lucifer that's compelling and makes sense, and a gabriel that has Gender
the dragon that camps out at the roadhouse and dean's recurring internal monologue about how fucking bad he wants to slay it

genuinely, my perception of How Supernatural Works was forever altered by reading that story... i tend to default to assuming the rules that starandrea made up for this fic are the ones to actually abide by in my own work lmao, i keep forgetting it isn't canon. it's just that good.
I'm reading sky verse for the first time thanks to you and it's SOOOOOOOO!!! so good. I love reading older fics because the vibes tend to be SO different from newer fics. like I wasn't even in the spn fandom when this was written ahskajskaka
!!! they really do, and you can just Tell that it was a fic written by someone in their thirties. it has the flavor of someone who has been a grownup for a long amount of time
