Small head canon here but what if the roses luck wasn’t haunted? What if the boat was sentient? in that weird dream episode everybody has they’re simplistic what if stories but in Waynosh’s dream where all of the ships are people the roses luck is weirdly tame compared to the romantic Moondragon and prissy Sky Skipper caricatures. it’s almost like she’s aware that it’s a dream. what is that was her way of connecting with everyone?

I had one final spot to fill in this set and wasn't quite sure who to put there, but after learning about Sky Skipper I thought it would be nice to pay homage to the game and its dedicated fans.
New episode of Ninchronicles! This time we take a look at one of Nintendo’s early arcade games that was lost to history. You play as Mr. You, a pilot on a mission to rescue everyone in a playing card themed kingdom from gorillas wearing headphones.
When it released in Japan, the game wasn’t doing as well as Donkey Kong, so Nintendo basically scrapped plans for a wider release. Most of the cabinets were either destroyed or converted to other games. Luckily, Nintendo of America still had one copy in their basement and were able to use that to release Sky Skipper worldwide on the Switch earlier this summer!
After seeing both Sky Skipper and Super Smash Bros Ultimate at E3 I can’t help but think up a head canon that Waluigi is throwing a hissy fit because he’s not a playable character in Smash Bros while Sky Skipper is wearing shades and is all like, “That’s right everyone, the hero of the Wonder Kingdom finally makes his debut in America.”
