She proceeded to talk really negatively about them for about five minutes, telling everyone how there was no hope for them and they were the cause of Slovakia's problems. Nearly everyone there was either Czech or Slovakian, and at one point someone shouted out a derogatory term  (the equivalent of negro) and everyone was just laughing. I found that really uncomfortable that the Prime Minister and a bunch of about 100 people could just sit there and talk about an ethnic group in such a way. When I got back home I googled Roma in Slovakia and there was even an Amnesty International Page on them.
