Your leg is bouncing. You can't stop it, but you don't even think to because the nerves and the stress in your system need an outlet and you hardly notice the constant rapid movement of your leg. Your fingertips drum on the table next to your phone that's flashing 'RESTRICTED' in warning red.

You don't want to answer the phone. A sick feeling in your gut tells you it's not going to be a pleasant call, and you could hazard a quick guess of who would be calling you from behind a restricted number.

It's been almost five years since you met Sitara and joined DedSec, and it's been five years since the ugly red restricted number flashed on your phone.

"You're not gonna get that?"

You jump at the voice and snatch up your phone. "Marcus!" you exclaim, putting your phone over your chest to calm your heartbeat that is suddenly all you can hear. "Marcus what... Babe. You cannot sneak up on me like that."

The look Marcus gives you is unimpressed. "I shouted when I got here," he tells you. "I did not sneak up on you."

In response, you laugh nervously and look away, dropping your gaze instead to your phone. The call ended and all your lockscreen shows is that you have a missed call.

"What is going on?" Marcus asks, quickly coming to your side. Your phone lights up with that same bright red RESTRICTED and you let out a shaky sigh. "... Babe... What is going on?" When you glance up at him, it's unsurprising to see he's also focused on the restricted call you're receiving.

"Ithinkthatit'sLenni!" you blurt out in a quick breath, exhaling long and sharp after the words are out. Then you say a little slower this time, "I think that it's Lenni!"

Marcus blinks and continues to stare at your phone. But when he meets your gaze, they're steely. "Why is she calling you?" he asks, a dangerous edge to his tone. But you know it's not directed at you, because you'd long since explained to him your hacking roots. You know Marcus and Lenni have beef, because she really likes to overstep her boundaries and this is no exception.

"I can guess," you say dryly, making a show of glancing around the DedSec headquarters the two of you are currently in.

Marcus scowls. "Gimme the phone. I'm gonna tell this snobby ass what's what and she's gonna leave you the hell alone." You tighten your grip on your phone when Marcus goes to take it from you.

"I can deal with it myself," you argue.

He nods. "I know, but if she's gonna be fuckin' with one of DedSec's own, she's gonna get her shit wrecked. Let me talk to her."

You cannot help but grin at his words, but you don't give in. "I'll deal with it."

Marcus lets out a loud sigh in return. "Fine, fine," he says, holding his hands up in surrender. "You deal with the phone call. I'll go right to the goddamn source."

For a moment, you both stare at each other and then he turns without another word, walking briskly toward the stairs to head back out onto the streets of San Fransisco.

     A tons of suggestion circulate on the internet how you should have your dram – on ice or with a few drops of water, drink it from a glencairn glass, don’t wear strong fragnance as that overtake the whisk(e)y’s aromas and your nose is going to be in trouble when you will try to identify the notes and so on.
