My favorite skoolie conversions are the ones that use recycled materials, like this couple’s mini bus camper. Look, they even left it in its original yellow exterior.

They completely stripped the interior. 

Reusing a seat, and adding salvaged cabinets with a pretty wood counter, they’ve got the coziest little BoHo camper. 

This is so creative, looks comfy, and didn’t cost too much.

They added a shelf so that a portable stove can either be used inside or outdoors. Clever idea.

I don’t have good luck with flats. I don’t know what it is – well, okay, I do know what it is: I have even worse luck holding down a job, and that impacts my flat because I can’t afford rent so I have to move or get evicted and… Oh yeah. Update!!!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know how we are doing! The fire place is installed and keeping us as warm as possible but we tend to go through wood quickly in the winter. And We finally are back to work after missing two weeks of pay! So hopefully we will get a paycheck here soon to help us. But we have run out of money and have very little food left. And we are super low on dog and cat food! Please if anyone could spare us any money at all so we can eat and start warm till our payday it would be a life saver!!! Our PayPal is [email protected]

We do also keep getting harassed by people in the area and it is taking a toll on our mental health. But I do have the option to go back to school but I have to pay 200$ to remove the hold on my transcripts. We are doing our best but we are in dire need at the moment! When he retired, Greg converted this old, rusty bus, that he calls “Buster” into a rustic cabin. You won’t believe the inside.

This furniture looks like a Hobbit made it. He even redid the bus’s driver’s seat.

When he passed away too soon from cancer, everyone thought it was the end of the road for  Bob Walmire’s Hippie style Land Yacht. But, it’s got a new home in Illinois at the Rt. 66 museum. Here’s a visitor making herself comfy.
