Thank you so much!! It was great fun to write about them <3 they are so cute. I have a fic about Strider and Faust in the works also... I'm answering both your asks in one (and apologising for the late reply 😭) so here are some STALKER 2 Skif and Richter headcanons:

Skif:

No sense of vertigo like at all. kinda likes heights.

I think his favourite place would be the Red forest. It's dangerous but pretty and if he sees anything it's usually an enemy so he knows what to expect... it's like. a straightforward place.

oddly likable in all his blunt glory, which is why people generally work with him. He's very no-bullshit as well which works well in the Zone (not with everyone but...)

Very very dry talker. (except with richter who's the only one he takes time with and that bit is canon. which is killing me. skichter is so real bro)

Extremely impatient as a person and this is what got him in trouble the most in the past esp. in the army.

Sleeps like a ROCK. nothing can wake him up if he lays down with the mindset to sleep he's having his 6-8 hours uninterrupted. an emission wouldn't wake him up. if he's out he's out.

Richter:

He does have vertigo but he really likes heights. I do imagine the cabin in Yaniv is mostly his and is his favourite place (safe, and nice overlook over Prypiat)

VERY good at picking up social cues contrary to what people believe because he's so cheerful. (it's both his personality and a coping mechanism yes)

Contrary to Skif, he's a really really good liar. Like, he's not a compulsive liar, but if he needs to he'll very naturally invent himself an entirely different life and play a role consistently for as long as he needs.

Helps the above: absolutely incredible, out of the norm picture perfect memory.

Somehow manages to always work his way out when he finds himself in a pickle as well.
