Day 10 of the #21daysinmyartworld challenge with #taraleaver ! Today is about the hands of an artist. My ego is rising to the surface with this challenge and I thought to skip today, but changed my mind and decided to be brave. I love seeing pictures, ads and people with beautiful hands. They are so expressive. My daughter has beautiful hands and everything she does just looks so poetic and beautiful! I wasn’t blessed with beautiful hands, always capable and strong but never beautiful. I’ve worked them hard throughout the years and it has taken its toil. My youth has passed and now they aren’t even as strong or capable, but wrinkled and arthritic. These hands have been making art for a lot of years and will continue to do so as long as they hold up.
